Hello everybody. How are you guys? It's been a long time since I started posting here. I've been busy with work and now I have time again for AC.
I'm still catching up and updating a lot of the cool new mods that have come out in the last couple of years.

Buuut... I have a problem with kunos gt3-gtlm cars, the tire texture is completely black. I tried reinstalling Pure, Sol, and CSP from 1.78 - 1.80. The problem suddenly appeared, everything was working fine before.
Any solution? Thanks in advance and a big hug to everyone.

The problem disappears with the cloned car.

I think the problem could come from:

assettocorsa\ is the root folder of your AC installation…

  • In CSP all GT3 tyres are defined here: assettocorsa\extension\config\cars\common\gt3_tyres_kunos.ini
So, as you probable see, inside that file all textures point to cars\ks_mercedes_amg_gt3.zip

  • The most probable is that you don’t have that “ks_mercedes_amg_gt3.zip” file of is pointing to somewhere else.

  • To fix it, you could try
    • Make a backup
    • Go to steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\cars\common gt3_tyres_kunos.ini
    • Edit that common gt3_tyres_kunos.ini and write the correct path to “ks_mercedes_amg_gt3.zip”
    • The correct path to the “zip file” should be \assettocorsa\extension\textures\cars

Who cares about the recent controversy from iRacing's Daytona 24 Hour race caused by Williams ESports team which made them banned from the race despite claiming that it was sort of unfair to the organizers? (Tho if they keep doing things like this, I really hope simracing e-sports scene won't die by continuing to go downhill after the Le Mans 24h controversy from rFactor 2, making GT7 the last survivor of the whole simracing world).

I just want their livery they raced with so badly since I really like it a lot, but primarialy is because I drove the AC conversion from iRacing by FIrst Studio Racing when it got leaked in two tracks (Seaside Route 765 from Ridge Racer and yesterday in Daytona Road Course after having seen some videos about it to compare its sound from the real counterpart). I had lots of fun with it and I will drive the rest of the LMH cars until Daytona 24 starts since I plan to watch it for the first time myself just for those LMH cars and nothing else. Infact, why not recreate all the other liveries used for that BMW in that iRacing event as well for grid fillers? (Since I personally have no time to create liveries myself yet since I'm currently finishing a mod of mine which was previously released a year or two ago on the visual side)

Since a few days we have the public available TESLA Model X Plaid from VR driving in AC. I know that this car is just insane, like in real life. Putting +1.000 HP in a SUV-type car.

Unfortunately this car shows a very strange behaviour: The AI drives into the pit after the first lap and is not able to come out again. Has anybody a idea what is going on here? Thank you.

Was absolutely embarrassing for the Williams E-Sports team. I'd love to see Simracing continue to grow and taken seriously, this just hurts everyone
 
can someone post a working link to the 1956 Maserati 450S (Tipo 54) by Benjaminavtek ?
(on assettoworld.com the link is dead, and the version on ACTK Garage has an error with second LOD, where the steering wheel suddenly flies above the car! -> why I'm searching for the original)

Without looking into it, I bet it's to do with the car's fuel tank. I'm not sure AC really understands fully electric cars. So if the car has, like, a 1 liter fuel tank, the AI is going to think 'oh **** I need fuel!' immediately.

That's my guess, at least.

but....... there is something wrong with the trees setup on all the new trees tracks :ill: i guess.
- weird shadows all over the ground besides the CSP trees.

I do not have these bugs on my Autopolis version:

i did not use .bin files in extension folder on Autopolis.
Perhaps these bugs have something to do with the setup of your bin files.

I also noticed the deleted original 2D bushes on Long Beach, on the left side on the start/finish straight. i don't get why to delete details from a track...

I hope updates are coming, because the tracks really look better with the new trees.
(I see the VR problems in here.. but i have no VR)

i noticed in all the new tracks (that's why i put on hold the long beach update which is a very mess), but also on paid tracks like the new Superstage montecarlo rally which has weird shadows. Your autopolis is the only track that don't have them atm (still have to check the update i'm working on with @ludwig6666 if has or not). Maybe you @Mitch9 can talk with ludwig and see if there's a way to bypass this issue so he can avoid creating each time for each update he does?
