RELEASE of Rouen 60s fix, Brno 1965 fix, update of Mexico GP 1967 and two new championships of the GPLmania series.

This time we're going to the first seasons of F1 with 50s cars and having fun with the very first winged Formula One cars. GPLmania Part 4 brings you the Legends of the 50s and the Wings of Change '68 championships with races on famous tracks of that times.

The idea of GPLmania is to bring together the best historic cars and tracks made for AC in championships that are either inspired by real historic ones or just fun to drive. Part 4 contains all work of previous parts.

There will be 5 parts, with new championships and new track releases for each part.

All download links are given in the Read Me file in the package. Be aware some of the content is for paid only.

if you recommend buying the G2, as being the overall best choice now for pcvr (assetto corsa) in particular,
I would beg to differ ... , I would say the Pico 4 is... While i do not own either (i'm on Q2 still) ,
the Pico 4 is more then 200 EUR cheaper (420euro ) and gives a much better image quality then the G2, going by what i see in this through the lens video (Assetto Corsa part)

Is that true though? I mean I watched a video about the quest 2 as I bought it on release and the picture quality was considerably worse than the Rift S I was coming off of. Apparently it comes down to the fact that you are asking the usb connection to send data from and to the headset as well as maintain a decent picture quality. You don't run into that with the Rift or Reverb as they got a usb cable for data and a display port cable for visual data. It's bizarre as the actual lens of the Q2 are higher res than the Rift S, but it just doesn't have the same picture quality... Hence I'm guessing you'll run into that issue with the Pico 4 too. From watching countless hours of YouTube videos I'd still say the Reverb is a better shout...

I tried to minimize the Clipping and adjusted the KN5 with CSP. Backup your KN5 before, incase you dont like the look of the Wheels moved in a bit.

I went for the Pico Neo Link 3. It has DP and the picture quality is excellent. Coupled with a cheap external 12v power supply it can run all day without the battery life being an issue. Great value too.

hi Aaron, you are right! And I have since that post also changed my mind and looking to buy indeed a headset with a displayport connection to improve on my Q2.
I am still doubting between G2 and the Neo 3 Link, or waiting altogether to see what will come out in the next months, maybe an affordable oled headset with a displayport (Bigscreen seems perfect, but 1000 dollars is a bit too much for my taste... hopefully there will be an alternative for around 600 in the near future.).
But I posted about this in the VR thread. If you or anyone wanna reply, pls do so over there.

Hi all, it may seem a noob question, in reality I am not a noob but I never care about that topic before, but now I began to play the replay of a race and to record it (for youtube)
So my question is that now I need to have some kind of leaderbord overlay (like as with F9) be on screen during the replay, to show at least my position (or all drivers) and the number of lap in which we are during the race/replay (and maybe the lap time)
But the standard AC apps do not show the position of my driver/car during the replay ...
I imagine there is an easy/fast answer to that but at the moment I do not know ... any tips ?

Release: Long Beach 58 Pits & Laguna Seca 50 Pits Track Layouts

Extra layouts for Long Beach and Laguna Seca. So you can now have big grids here.

Will be doing more American tracks that need it in coming weeks.

I've bundled the Long Beach track too as it seems many did not have it. This is the best version on Assetto as F/N did all the shader fixes and added better water etc. The Fountain was also sorted out.

Kunos did the track for Laguna Seca FYI.

Presenting greatly improved AI lines + little bit extra for the good old AVUS-DTM track. Due to the track characteristics the AI is still far from beeing perfect (probably impossible to make a perfect one for this track) but at higher opponent levels is much more competetive and behaving more realistic now. Finally the tracks becomes useable in single player.

I've already created an AI for myself. It's really very difficult to get the cars through the chicane without crashing.
I hope the hole Track gets a few more Updates. The Track could also use a few additional TV cams.

Hey guys, today I present you the V1 update for the 2010 season mod I converted to Assetto Corsa around last year, it took quite longer to update because I took some time to learn about modding (more than body swapping) and also because of hard-drive failure which made me lose all of my progress. But here it is at last !

Changelog :

• What has changed ? : Everything tbh, this is redone from scratch. ​
• Proper AO map for every cars, better metallic paint for the mclaren (CSP required)​
• Driver suits for every teams and all drivers has their own helmet ! (Big thanks to serg for making the skins)​
• Better handling, more realistic, No more 2020 Mercedes overpowered downforce, no more grip suddenly vanishing like your father who went to buy milk when a certain speed is achieved. You can also now change the aero in the setup without having to drive a soap after. Credit to Bimon for helping with the physics !​
• New engine sounds, Thanks to Prophetimus for redoing every car sound, now there's justice done to Mclaren and Cosworth, exterior sounds doesn't sound like NULL anymore.​
• Animated suspension​
• Featuring the 3 2020 classic car version from Codemaster, I asked myself if it was worth it to convert them, apparantly it is. There is also an updated R30 Renault version with a rework done to it, and Kubica LED shifting style.​
• Lot of skins, Barcode, LG redbull, HRT early and late season skins.... There's more skins to make you happy !​
• CSP TyreFX support, You can now select soft and hard compound directly from the pit. Rain tyre texture are also added for codemaster tyres, you need to put them in the driver skin folder to make it usable. I don't really know yet where csp decides to take Rain tyres textures.​

What have you done! just yesterday i set up a new f1 2012 championship.... Now i have to swap it with yours, because it`s way better

Codemaster made 3 classic 2010 cars for F1 2017/19 onward, I have converted those model. (Also the ferrari is the F-Duct version in codand cockpit mirrors where original 2010 codemaster was more on the side)
Basically, more polygon, more accurate to the 2010 real car. (Also the ferrari is the F-Duct version in cod)
Codemaster horrible mapping was hard to manipulate, i do think i did a good job fixing them and making them good on assetto, but they won't have any alternate skins like the 2010 codemaster counterpart. I'll make barcode skins for V1.5 tho


The renault is a rework of the 2010 codemaster, with another type of AO, FIA stickers on the steering wheel and led shifting being the same as kubica (5 middle leds going as usual, and top rev enable left and right 5 leds). It also has the modern bridgeston tyre the 3 has.

Also just checked, and i forgot to fix redbull matte shader, please redownload the mod if you already did

This chassis was one of the late delivered RSR car. Only 6 cars were delivered after it. It must have been like a very nice christmas present receiving the RSR the 22nd of december. Konrad Motorsport entered the car into the 1994 IMSA GT season and into the 1994 Suzuka 1000 km race. For 1995 the car got modified into a Bi-Turbo spec. This was quite unusual, as there is only one other RSR that had been modified into a Bi-Turbo. All the other Bi-Turbo 964s were based on 964 Cup cars.

The first race was the 1994 Daytona 24h race. The car which was driven by Cor Euser, Antônio Hermann, Maurizio Sandro Sala and Franz Konrad ended up being 3rd in class and a very respectable 6th overall.

The car also took on the Sebring 12H event with a slightly changed driver lineup. Antônio Hermann was now joined by Eric van Vliet and again Maurizio Sandro Sala. Sebring did not go well. Photos show the car with significant damage to the bodywork. The result was a 15th place overall and only 6th in GTU class.

The last photos of the IMSA races the car participated in 1994 show the car in the Road Atlanta race. The design was very similar to the Sebring design but the car had a replacement fender on the driver side, which was taken from the Bi-Turbo sister car. Franz Konrad was the driver and for whatever reason the car also used #99 which was usually the starter number of the Konrad 964 Bi-Turbo. I really like such small details...
