Thanks Rodger... That's essentially what I did in the end 👍I'm not sure why CSP previews do this with the car - you can see the default state has them closed in the normal CM Showroom.
However, if you want a quick fix for this, just remove the animation file from the folder when you generate the previews and then drop them back in when you're done. Haven't tried it but should work.
If I had to guess, I'd say that the animation is trying to run as CSP loads AC to make the shot, and there's a tiny delay, so the doors appear half closed.
Why it doesn't do the same on ALL door-close animations? Timing? Keyframes? Who knows? 😊
In fact, the more I think about this, @Masscot @Fall Guy, the more I'm liking the animations (steer, suspension, doors etc, etc) as the culprit in some/most/all of this. Differences in timing, PC horsepower, other-process load yada-yada, could easily explain the randomised results?
