F1 1976 Ferrari 312T2 and Mclaren M23 by Cimmerian_Iter

• Models from Codemaster for the Ferrari, and mix of Forza/Codemaster for Mclaren. ​
• Engine sound from F1 2019 by Kriistian​
• Physics by Biimon​

I loved the Rush movie and wanted to have these 2 cars ingame, and also wanted to experiment having the engine sounds of F1 2019 converted in AC. This is by no means up to the standard of my other mods as this one is purely made out in my spare spare spare time, meaning few hours.

0.5 for now, will fix bugs if any. Also if you have much better pics than the steam decks one I put in the mod page feel free to send it to me so i can add it to the mod page

Car looks great drives really well but upon entering the pits at the start the car is moving by its self rolling backwards and there is no engine sound in F3 view or F5 view but there is engine sound in F1 view. In the pits you have to sit with your foor on the break to stop it moving by its self.

For the ferrari i packed the wrong sound engine, this one has only internal view sounds, this is an oversight from my side and will fix it next time. But the ferrari behavior I don't understand what you mean. Can you record a video to show what you're talking about?


Mclaren will be updated to fix the wheels hanging.

Ferrari 312 it appears to only do it on the Spielberg 1977 track it rolls backwards by its self before you enter the cockpit as soon as you enter the car you have to sit with your foot on the break to stop it moving.

It uses some data from his Mission R mod. Also it's not a complete car mod, just an optional data folder for your/GUE's car.

I personally don't care what you think of the real car or not. You can have whatever opinion you'd like of it.

I will concede your GT4 cars are free but all of the other cars are behind a paywall and the majority of them are ripped from ACC.

Again I’m not looking for profit or clout, I just posted it because I thought it was fun. If you want my post taken down then report it and speak to a moderator. If it gets taken down then I respect the outcome and admit I was in the wrong.

I apologize if you find it harsh and disrespectful to the original intent of your mod, but my admittedly crappy file replacement isn’t your original mod or model and until such a decision is made I argue fair use for my post.

No worries, you're correct that this is the case with many UE5 games. It is temporally unstable - though not due to DLSS itself, but rather the poor programming underneath.

I need to start watching Threat Interactive it seems. Many years back before I ever modded Assetto I was using some Nvidia Inspector settings to throw some pretty trick AA options on Assetto and in my memory nothing looks as good as that did, but it doesn't seem to work with CSP so I reset the profile long ago and I tried playing with it again last night and CSP still seems to not allow it to work so I abandoned that, DLAA and GSR 2 have the slightest edge shimmer for me which is why I figured I would try the old inspector AA again but it's possible this slight DLAA imperfection could be because I just let CSP automatically grab whatever DLLs it wanted to, I did not try the specific version numbers mentioned a page or two ago. I could just be chasing a dragon here but since the Nvidia Inspector settings don't seem to take correctly there's no way of actually confirming that right now, I'm sure somebody has figured out what needs to be done to ensure compatibility for that but I don't feel like actively digging for it right now.

Okay After a good search, I managed to find and create a playable grid for WTCR and BTCC mods. I used a mix of mods from Tommy78, Shaun Clarke (RIP), and others. But I really need to know if it would be prudent for someone to create a cleaner animation for BTCC v2.1, available for free on their website...

Take a look at maki123 and delpinsky mod. It's very old, but at the time, it was the gold standard. It's 2018 season, but these are good cars, well balanced, with solid competitive ai:

Regarding all this dlss talk.. i was a doubter and i found it made a big improvement to antialiasing in my AC when i tried it, the game graphics are the crispest and nicest i have ever got. not "game changer", but a close to it, a definite improvement, better than trying endless amounts of PPFs.
The thread seems filled with certain haters of this feature who probably have not tried it on their AC? And i wonder why? my first thought was what i once believed dlss was for, for only frame generation while losing quality, while this is NOT what the end result is.
For me and others, the addition to csp has done 2 things... 1st is i can run tracks and cars where my system previously suffered, now with far more FPS with barely any noticable image loss. 2nd, i can run dlaa at 100% and the game looks better with no discernable FPS loss compared to msaa etc. So why hate on something that works???
P.S. i only just realised dlss is for rtx cards, so i guess people with old 1060-1080 cards will get no benefit, which at least one of the doubter commentators runs.

Okay Thank you, I had already checked, but the links are offline. I mentioned animations for wipers for Shaun's BTCC, and also for TCR (since Alpha Delpinsky already has them). Those LODs are also interesting. If by any chance, send them to me in a DM.

@kpcart : Thanks for this, here on RTX 4070 Super and still figuring out (me quite a noob on this matter), so tell me; how can I set this up properly (am on 4K native, currently with 2x SGSSAA + MSAA 2x and no PPF). Looks fantastic already and can keep ~116 FPS (capped) with at least 21 oponents in weekends. Tell me what to do EXACTLY (I followed P. BOESE instructions, but to no avail unfortunately) and I may well be one of those using DLAA from here onwards. Thank you in adcance.

Another month, another update. Figured out how to check how many entries each update includes, So happy to say that this "little" update comes with over 700 liveries archived. As usual massive thanks to everyone that has used the comment feature and help me fill out incorrect stuff and missing liveries. There are still some that i have not gone trough or simply ignored due to lacking any information, Specifically comments that directs me to Facebook or just simply not including sources. As mentioned in the read before page while i do support piracy in general, I don't want the spreadsheet to be used to direct people to stolen liveries. Even if i think that paying for liveries are a bit dumb.

375 liveries archived this month. A lot less than previous month but i got a bit busy with irl work now that the racing season is starting back up.


No new cars this month.

As usual, Cheers to everyone that continues using the comment feature. To help fix or fill in gaps that are missing. I might be open to have someone help with it in the future and give them editorial rights to fill out the forms quicker etc.

Activating the "Monitor" option in the Car Mirror app. Since the car is fictional, you can imagine that have a rear camera mirror buyed in Aliexpress.

...Oh nooo....

Pump up the pressure, you're going to come off the tire on the first corner. (These cheap knock-off rims from AliExpress are going to give us a nasty surprise someday... 🙄)

Rome was never in GT7 - but Kuwaku was making one in the vein of his Red Rock and Grindelwald:




Both of his projects are good - well made from a model perspective, but you can tell he's a modeler and not a racer. A few racing-level things (track mesh, timing, pit lane issues, etc.) don't work well. It's something he could have used help on.

Seems he's been MIA for about a year, unfortunately. Hopefully he finishes his Rome and gets some help to polish it.

Are there people here who are perfectly capable of doing a "rework" ? Like for example people who can provide a physics set, and engine sound just like how someone would rework a simdream mod?

I have other leftovers from "experiments" and "funsies" in my hard drive, but that were never remotely completed to be a full fledged mod. I can share these and someone pick it up and turn it into something fun
