THIS HACKING CRAP IS GETTING OUT OF HAND NOW!!

Dammit, I specifically wanted to have the 7th level prestige emblem, the helicopter blade one. I joined a room and the host happened to be hacking. Everyone was flying all over the place when you jumped, etc. I left the room and he even created a message that said "10th so and so... enjoy... etc.", when I left the room. Anyway when I went back out to the lobby I was automatically level 10 prestige 55.

I don't mind hackers when I can leave the room, but when they intrude into my gaming experience like this it pisses me off. Bad kids SUCK. Not to mention at least 25% of rooms I enter now are hacked.

My account got hacked the same way. I wanted to earn the gold cross, then while in my fourth prestige, it jumped to tenth.

Since then, since my account's already hacked, I thought they couldn't do anymore. Wrong. Last night, I'm having little fun, doing alright. Then another weird lobby, which has blue & red menu's popping up during pregame, so I got the heck out. I forgot to try pulling the network cable first......... again. I get out of the lobby, all my custom classes said something weird in blue & red, like "team" something. I fix it, put proper names back on my custom classes, no big deal. But when I go to barracks to check my status on my P90, see how many more kills I need before I can get the silencer? It's already marked "done". Challenge completed, 150/150.

I believe that this means that I will never be able to used a silenced P90 on this account, ever. It is my SMG of choice, but only with the silencer. I really wish something horrible on these sad little nerds. To put this kind of effort in cheating on online games, they must be really lacking something in real life. 👎

I jumped on this game about a week ago and in my first game I was jumping twenty light years into the sky and people were spamming infinite and no clip grenade launchers. It came up with all the rubbish saying I was tenth or something so I turned off my PS3. I know I will be hacked now, it pisses me off as I was ALWAYS proud to say I reached legitimate 7th prestige and sat there on CoD4. I have done the equivalent of 17 prestiges on MW2, stopping at the awesome 7th logo and then hitting tenth on another account, thank god I don't own it to taint that too.

As much as I dislike CoD these days, the game was the beginning of seriously playing online for me and for it to screwed by idiots like that is very annoying.

This is why I don't take games seriously anymore, people are out there to ruin stuff for you.

I'd thankfully already reached 'Gold Cross 55' on my original account and was in the process of trying to 'Done' all the challenges before the hacking started. By some stroke of luck i'd started playing it on my other account when the hacking set in so i don't really care what happens to that account.

Been playing it quite a bit recently and in most cases the MTD lobbies have been relatively hack-free. Although i do get the feeling that some players may still be using some light hacking (if that's even possible) where they have infinite grenades and some form of aim-bot. It's fairly subtle, but the kill cam's showing some very accurate long-range kills. Of course, they may just be damn fine players

No way, man. Even I used to do it, all the time. Recoil is so manageable in CoD4 & MW2, you can just look for shadow moving across the map, then with just couple short bursts, you can still drop the target. I used to snipe with iron sights RPD in the MW2!

I still remember when I was convinced this guy had aimbot on, when I was fairly new to the game. Of course, that was until I started using the same technique. LMG's were esepcially good for that.

TA: I expected no less from you!

P.S. Pippen is one of my top-3 all-time favorite players.

Cool story. I've only seen a handful of games where hacking was apparent.

Of course, the number of times I see bad players think other people are hacking is amazing.

After 6+ months w/o a PS3 I'm finally back in business. TBT I traded in my 360 (60GB) and all my games for a new Slim as it was time to re-up my Gold membership. In the final analysis I decided I derived zero satisfaction from paying MS $60/year for them to constantly throw advertising at me.

Anyhoos... as a result I gave MW a whirl and played about 10 games online the other. I'm happy to report I only found myself in 1 hacked lobby, movement speed was about 3x, and that I didn't notice any permanent damage to my online profile. If I'm understanding things correctly if I find myself in another hacked lobby and want to prevent data corruption the recommended action is to immediately pull the ethernet cable and turn off the PS3?

After many many many hours of MW2 and BO on the 360 results actually went ok. I still inadvertently knife on occasion when I'm trying to quickly aim with the RS (mainly due to the fact the DS2's stick button is easier to press-in than the 360's), but apart from that I wasn't too terri-bad. Even managed to go positive enough to officially put me on the plus side of 1.0 k/d lifetime (like 1315 kills to 1304 deaths).

However all this time away also underscores for me the niggles that even MW has... namely Jugger, Martyrdom (gah still so 🤬 annoying), inability to choose the Air Strike's direction and no hit markers for tac grenades.

Overall gotta admit I think I still prefer BO online implementation the most.

I've been m40 acog'ing since 08. It seems people quit quick scoping the intervention in mw2 and moved back to cod4. I myself enjoy it, but it is starting to get out of hand, just take out an mp5 and wreck em.

We had a good turnout tonight. TA, Brett/Vash, icelt, myself, and couple of friends I made online: Molina & Bizzar. Biz is crazy good. I befriended him on CoD4, and you guys saw why.

Are you serious. Two nights back, and I have yet to see a hacked lobby. So they still exist.

Let me also clarify with my controller situation. It was un-freakin-believable!

I had a strong game myself, Bizzar commended me on it, I tried to respond in the chat. My cursor kept going to the right. I tried everything to fix it, cursor kept going to the right.

Next match starts. Everything went fine until I got UAV. My right button on the d-pad doesn't work, so I can't call it in. After pressing it, really hard several times, it worked. Same thing, over & over for air strike, more UAVs.

I was convinced I broke my controller. But I decided to change the batteries just in case(it's a logitech). It fixed it.

Yeah it was at the very least super speed & super jump I left before I could find anything else out.

I finally got my acog M21 setup and I was beasting with it. I did notice however that the M21 with the regular scope has ZERO idle sway. Holding my breath doesn't even do anything. Is that normal? My R700 class still has idle sway as does my acog M21 class.

And did you guys see that sweet triple kill feed I got on Bloc with the R700? It was epic.

It's been forever since I've used the M21, though I do love it. Can't remember much else about the gun. R700 was my favorite, but yes, it wasn't the most stable sniper.
