Also GTO is miles more fun than GTP. I've always been in the higher class in multi class series but being in the slower class feels better 👍

Well that was a mixed bag. Was very surprised at that fact that I was mixing it with the Pro class in qualifying and the race, very made up with my performance.

1st half was really good, car felt great and was keeping the Pro boys honest, and then the bloody rain arrived, well done Alex!! That really showed up what happens to heavy V light cars in the wet. Snow caught and passed me with little or no trouble as the track got greasy. This includes tyre wear.

It’s the 2nd half where it all fell apart. I received a "Lag Bump" from Yeratel which gave me rear damage, so I struggled with that for a couple of laps before pitting. Then PPMike and Chris seemed to be lagging really badly when together and a bloody almighty crash between myself and PP insude which dropped me back by 2 laps.

I think 5th was the best I could have hoped for (6th if Nin was driving the full race). But top Am driver at a track I'm not keen on? I'll take that.

Missed out on the banter last night. It sounded pretty interesting from what I've read. Hopefully, the work schedule will allow me to join in the fun as I have recently changes the availability times on my part.

I was reffering to car setup I was running what came on it at dos and it was like 2seconds slower

Motegi Favourites: all cars with good acceleration, so the likes of Cobra, Mustang, GTB & Vette should all be good. I would have preferred my earlier choice, the Dino, on this one though. What it lacks in acceleration, it can make up through corner speeds. Unfortunately for the Toyota, straights are too short here and corners leading on to them are slow, so the Toyota's strength doesn't ever come into play here.

So Motegi will be about damage control for me. According to my own testing data, I should be off by at least about 0.7-1.0s. I'm therefore aiming for a steady drive with no stupid mistakes and just see what I'll end up with. Because you never know in WSC.

Daytona can't come fast enough for me though.
