Seeing the pic from the next update below. Makes me think PD may actually have applied what I suggested.

Since PD like making trophies I just can't see why they wouldn't do a brand loyalty reward. Even to continue logging in everyday offer the invitation for choosing Ferrari as you Manufacturer or for buying all the parts for one car or buy two classic Ferraris and get the invite.
I feel having to buy an expensive Legends car is fair to unlock invites. If it’s something like Pagani, I even suggested how that could happen with no Pagani Legend car:
Engines should definitely have a purchase option. Keep the roulette as it is, due to what I mention below.

The Hagerty dealership should have all cars available. Still change the colors maybe every week and adjust the prices every month.
Invitations unlock once the 10 car purchase is completed. An Invitation to a brand like Pagani, unlocks when a player collects the 25th Anniversary Countach and Diablo GT(for instance). Another example, Bugatti invitation unlocks when a player collects one of each car from the VW group.
Sony get their money, as MTX players continue to do their thing and players that grind are active. Casual players will have access to cars at anytime, with a much more relaxed GT community. Everyone wins.

What do I have to do to get the Citroën? Smoke a Gauloises?

I hope that the SU7 is not part of Spec III. Not that I don't want it in the game but hopefully they give that spot to something else. For me I wouldn't mind a midget or AZ1 but they probably won't be coming in this update. I guess we have to wait and see

I really think we are overthinking the way the unlimited car invites will work. Considering that the image of the Porsche invite is right after the player seemingly reaches level 51, it could simply be tied to the player's Collector level.

Yes, the Porsche invite appeared after a Porsche was bought, but can't that be just a coincidence? ;)

Well that sucks. Couldn’t get the invite at 50, but gotta wait til 51. PD, man. They keep moving that goal post.

I think invitations will be tied to the new Collector Levels, if you see on the trailer is implied that reaching level 51 you unlock the Porschr invitation, with this model. They are making worthy to continue growing the collector level

With your idea in mind, one of the four new mystery cars to come could be a Zonda C12 at the LCD..

I'd be more inclined to think it's the other way around - the Porsche invite being linked to the Porsche purchase being the intentional link, with the level 51 happening at the same time being the coincidence. Just makes more sense to me that way.

I guess it's all speculation until we find out for sure though.

Would be logical with the picture they provided. Or they reached level 51 while buying a Porsche at LCD, and level 51 brings Porsche invitation by default, they would have got this invite irrespective of the brand they bought, as long as it is expensive enough to reach CL 51...

You also have to consider that Bugatti also doesn't have a car sold at Legend Cars yet (no EB110 Super Sport, Type 35 C or Type 37 A).

I did. February 2023. ;)

If you watch the trailer this is exactly what happens

That they reach CL 51 and then they get the invite ? Doesn't tell if they would have gained a Ferrari invite if they had bought a Ferrari 300P4 for example.

Is CL 51 = Porsche invite ? Or is there a link between the LCD car you buy when being CL>50 and the permanent invite you get ?

Second option would make sense to me (but you have the issue with invite brands that do not have a car in LCD)

Probably a technical implementation detail that makes it much easier to give unlimited invitations rather than remove the entire system.
I doubt we will get rid of the actual invites system, we'll still win invites on the roulette. But on top of that, we'll have a way to gain permanent invites in some way not clear yet. Which for people playing for more than a year is close to useless.

In the trailer, it shows the new collector level and after it levels up it shows a Porsche invite popping with ‘Rewards Unlocked’ under it

Though we're still going to have to wait until December to find out how it's actually going to work.

I am still waiting for a Bugatti invite since the beginning .... So if it's just the case they don't expire than it's useless indeed.

Which would be really stupid, therfore I believe it cannot be just that :P

So I guess with new collector levels we'll just get them maybe one by one per level

Meanwhile, Mazda officially unveiled the MAZDA SPIRIT RACING ROADSTER 12R '25, revealing technical specifications, but we still don't have them in-game (
Most probably an update is required, if we follow up the State of Play disclaimer we will have to wait to Christmas, but knowing PD I wouldn't discard at least another small/regular update before Spec III

My guess is that every new collector level earns you a brand-specific invite, like level 51=Porsche, 52=Citroen, 53=Bugatti and so on, regardless of what cars you have bought before from the LCD.
I am quite sure it will be as dumb as that, but I can't fight hoping for something more logical.

I bet we’d probably also get the MSR 184 PS version, at some point, before any other Roadster(NB, NC, ND RF).

A thought: MFGT has the exact track count in its ending video.

With those numbers changing, surely they'll update that as well? And if so, I wonder if they'll do anything else with it at the same time.

And my clunky method of finding the BHP and Weight (LBS) appears to have been accurate.

If you had saved the money for a 20 million car right at the beginning, without spending it for something else, you would have jumped from LVL 1 to LVL 31 after buying the car.
😆

If we're being picky, the BHP is still 200.
And that's depressing, if that's how the PP calculation method works. That's why the Super Formula and Group 1 and 2 cars look like cheats in Group 3 races.
