I only race GT500's online really so thats my main request. Would have been good to move over to new DTM cars but meh lol

How many GT3 cars are there in GT6?

10 plus the 3 15th Anniversary editions ( that probably wont qualify in a stock GT3 room).

R8 LMS ULTRA
R8 LMS Playstation
R8 LMS Team Oreca
R8 LMS Ultra Team Phoenix
R8 LMS '09 (no livery)
BMW Z4 GT3
SLS GT3
R35 GT-R GT3
R35 GT-R GT3 base model
R35 GT-R GT3 N24 Sculze Motorsport

GT-R NISMO 15TH ANNIVERSARY
R8 LMS ULTRA 15TH ANNIVERSARY
SLS GT3 15TH ANNIVERSARY

When you watch GT3 type series, while variety exists, the amount of Z4's, SLS's and R8 LMS's are the majority (excluding the 458 and Porsche which looks unlikely).

I believe the Anniversary GT-3 cars are going to be a little more powerful the regular cars.

GT-R NISMO 15TH ANNIVERSARY 630 PS (600PS stock)
R8 LMS ULTRA 15TH ANNIVERSARY 600PS (570PS stock)
SLS GT3 15TH ANNIVERSARY 630 PS (578PS stock)
I believe the Anniversary GT-3 cars are going to be a little more powerful the regular cars.

Thats why I dont think we can use them in a stock room. They should be usable in Seasonals like the Stealth cars.

Where did you find the PP and power number at? I'm going to continue to run my race cars stock as I do now and I'll proper build the street cars to keep them in class as I've done after I found out how how the pp system worked or should have worked. I've have very good success with what I call step tuning, only adding or removing what is necessary for the car to preform at it best. Through this I found every car within its class, did matter what decade, drive train or power. As long the cars were properly built within it class and not overly built and power limited to 90% to 82% the cars preformed even better than a MAD MAX car as I call them. I'm looking forward to having the same success in GT6. I'm also looking forward in not seeing the power limiter return either.

I'm a team drifter so, most likely none of them.

But don't mistake me for somebody who doesn't like a good race! ;)

I love Super GT, ran an entire club on it, but GT3 is new & fresh, and I'll be doing plenty of racing in it. Honestly, GT3 especially without some of those OP cars like Ferrari/Porsche, etc. in the GT3 class it should be close.

I' converted some of the base models power numbers and I'm really liking what I see with the GT3 cars. A 30 horse power along with a 100 kilograms difference between both cars, I really looking forward to GT6 even more now than before.
GT-R NISMO GT3 600PS 1350kg; 592hp 1350kg
R8 LMS ultra 570PS 1250kg; 562 1250

Addition:

Now I'm curious how close the SuperGT car will be buy decade as long the motors are left in stock form and fully broken in?💡 Now I really want to see the build system to see what proper track day cars can be built. Now back to the SuperGT cars, we know all of the cars from GT5 will be carrying over and we know what they're capable of in over built state in GT5. I want to see how they'll be in stock form now after seeing the number of the GT3 cars.

Im thinking higher cornering and breaking due to the higher downforce and 150-250kg lightness of the SGT500 cars. Then, about a 10-15kmh difference in top speed down Fuji.

The concerning area is decade of performance, will it differ. We know if the cars are overly tuned and the power limiter used to a gastric amount, some of the race cars perform better than others pending of the variables and track.

PD better fix the speeds of GT500 because GT3 cars on current model.will be around the same speed as the GT500 which is cpmpletely wrong as the Downforce difference is massive.

If PD modelled the aero like they say they have done, we should see these cars differ in cornering speeds. Me personally, I wont modify any of my race cars. They will be just like the real versions. Well, im going to run them all at Mount Panorama first thing and see how each differ.

For me it will be what ever class has the Mazda rotaries, I think it's GT300, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, allthough it was last raced in 2006.

The last current Rotory to Race would be the RX8 in Grand Ams GT Class.

In GT300 class, No.62 LEON SLS (Haruki Kurosawa/Tsubasa Kurosawa) that marked the top time of Day 1 marked 1 min 40.860 sec and that became a target time. Soon after, No.3 S Road NDDP GT-R (Kazuki Hoshino/Daiki Sasaki/Alex Buncombe) went over No.62 LEON SLS. No.61 SUBARU BRZ R&D SPORT (Tetsuya Yamano/Kota Sasaki/Takuto Iguchi) placed third with a small gap.

Battle in the 1 min 34 sec mark continued for a while, but, when the session entered the mid-stage, No.100 RAYBRIG HSV-010 put their lap time in the 1 min 33 sec mark and took the lead away from SC430 fleet. But then No.6 ENEOS SUSTINA SC430 (Kazuya Oshima/Yuji Kunimoto) got over to the top with a mere difference with 33.822 sec. The field was very tight with the time difference between the top and 14th being only 0.8 second apart.

7seconds a lap at Fuji. If 8 GT500 users leave their cars stock and 8 GT300 users do the same, depending on skill, I'd like to do this.

That article was testing at Fuji on a 'green track' (not rubbered in as it rained the day before). At round 2 Fuji this season, Kazuki Nakajima set a GT500 qualifying record time of 1:31.040 in the Petronas SC430, his best race lap was a 1:33.280! The best GT3 car was a Mercedes SLS GT3 with a qualifying time of 1:38.618 and a best race lap of 1:39.619 from a Nissan GTR GT3. So theres about 7.5 seconds difference in ultimate pace between the cars and 6.3 seconds on 'race pace'. GT3 should never challenge SuperGT500 cars.

Thats why I hope people race with real specs and not a turbo 3 engine 3 uprade HSV versus Ford GT LM II Test Cars! including the GT3 cars in GT6 will do wonders to introduce new users to the both SGT and Blancpain, etc. If the same users watch some of the races, it may get more people to keep race cars stock and learn to get the most out of that standard package.

Its looking promising on the GT500 speed, anyone see the BMW GT video around Brands Hatch?

You can see the 350Z GT500 is extremely fast especially on the corners(keep in mind this is AI).

Yes it's does look promising. The norm GT5 tuning method is out the door now. Some better start studying on how a car truly works in the suspension and aerodynamics area. No more need for speed to say.

@Zuel, I cant stressyour point enough. People really need to watch videos and check out tuning a race car. Even if someone plays once a week for 2hours, they could still have fun setting up a race car properly to get the most out of it.

The evolution of the Gran Turismo has grown greatly with the addition of a proper aerodynamic algorithm, the partnership with KW and Yokohama tires alone. Now that almost every automotive manufacture is involved with Gran Turismo with GT Vision the title will evolve even more. In the pass I’ve spoke of this and I got bashed, looked down on or whatever for speaking of this. Now that the evolution is here I’m very pleased to know that the people whom doubted what I had to share are now sticking their feet in their mouths or up their 🤬. We have asked for a true sim for a number of years so we wouldn't have to go the PC rout. The first installment of it is here and people will have to chuck up and be humble or relearn everything they thought about driving/racing setting a car.

You didn't get bashed Zuel, as I recall you were asked many times to fully explain your theories and then to prove they worked and you couldn't do either. Right now you're making assumptions about tuning in GT6 and you haven' tuned a car yet. It certainly looks promising on paper, but until we actually get our thumbs and fingers on the cars, we have no idea what will or won't work and how in depth it'll be.

I remember @Johnnypenso and I did give proof with a detailed chart as well. And the finding where still looked down on. For you to think or to state I'm making assumptions is futile, the proof is in the video, take car and watch carefully like you do everything else, plus there is nothing on paper so to speak. Even though we haven't had a chance to do anything with GT6 besides the demo. The notations and video's shared alone is proof along with the history of the companies that have become evolved in depth is proof enough.

And therein lies the original problem. A chart is not proof, it's numbers on a virtual sheet of paper. As to the rest of your post, it's pure assumption and speculation, nothing more.

Along with your thoughts @Johnnypenso, just another sheet of paper. A physical sheet or a virtual sheet "As you say" was shared along with tire manufacture "Michelin", car engineers full name "Which I will not give", Team "Patron" along with the needed data and cad file was included with what I shared. If you feel or think what I stating is assumptions that's your opinion. I myself don't Indore assumptions due to it's make you look like a fool or a big 🤬 🤬. Like I said before with the history of the companies evolved and statements from pro-seasoned drivers unlike yourself, "You're a Kart driver" GT6 has evolved. At what point which I do agree with you, we'll never know until we get our hands on the disc.

Im having a few last go's in the '09 R8 LMS Playstation in the Dream Car seasonals and in Arcade Mode. Its an awesome handling car. If we can spec up a 458 and MP4 12C(id prefer the Red Bull Loeb car) and place them in our championships, this will be the series of the game. :)

I did som GT500 racing with the Calsonic GTR in Arcade Mode. The only problem is the sound. It gets boring and annoying. PD should have just made it sound like the HSV with more "trumpet" mixed in. I am hoping those SGT sounds improve because I want to race proper race series at the correct circuits.
