I hate to be that guy, but this is why people generally shouldn't preorder .What is completely dead is my hope that any of the promised content back when I put down my $60 for pre-order of GT6, that any of that content is coming anytime soon.
@ZDUPH and @ImmalovemaGTR
I already came back to GT5 and I think it feels much better and completed game than GT6.
I just played GT6 for the first time after playing Project CARS for about 3 months, and it was horrid. All the aliasing and framerate drops just killed the experience, the physics were still decent, but Project CARS is just much more realistic in general.

Did you try it with a wheel? To me, Project CARS has a far superior physics engine.Borrowed my friends ps4 and copy of project cars, it does look amazing.
Wondering what it's gona feel like to go back to GT6 when i'm used to next gen graphics, however i still prefer GT physics.
If GT7 has the sound & AI that Project cars had then i think it will come close to the perfect game for me.
Sooooo... for all of you who did not pre-order, you received everything that was promised on day one of game launch? I think we all missed out on the same promises, right?
Uhmm, gt6 has better sounds than pcars! And no, I'm not kidding!Project BUGS I looooooooled !
No, but I did get to pay 20 bucks for a game that was worth just 20 bucks . I bought it when the price had dropped to a level that I found acceptable for the amount of content and improvements the game had.Sooooo... for all of you who did not pre-order, you received everything that was promised on day one of game launch? *i quoted the wrong guy..
Online? I wouldn't really say so.For me it is. Course maker is not about to bring me back either. I doubt that it turns out to be amazing. I'll just wait for GT7 and see how that is. I'm hearing that GT6 is dead when it comes to the online as well.

It's not just about that though. If you preorder, the company gets their money no matter what the initial state of the game is like. You already paid for it, you can't get your money back if you're not satisfied. All you can do is wait and hope that the game gets the features you thought it would get.
If people don't preorder, the developers are forced to make a game that would pass for being complete on the day of its release. If people do preorder, the developers are not forced to make a game that looks like it is complete on the day of its release.
The trend today is that games are released more and more imcomplete, with a bigger and bigger emphasis on the "day one patch". The more people preorder, the more gamers are paying the companies to do their quality assurance jobs for free.
"you do realize" that that's not the case with digital distribution, right?
you know, the type of distribution that's getting more and more common and is causing physical stores to close down at a relatively fast pace
But yes, I do know that it's not always the full amount in old fashioned stores. It sometimes is, though.
Seems GT6 still selling sufficient enough as it's in the top 10 for PSN July sales.

Pretty impressive for an incomplete game released in 2013.
...On PS3, at least. Sufficient enough to be in the top ten, but without any way of knowing how well that is outside of that specific measurement.Seems GT6 still selling sufficient enough as it's in the top 10 for PSN July sales
