Nice pun. I also think that as long as JPM can jump ahead of Alonso, I don't see any reason why he won't hold off Alonso. Though that is easier said than done.

Turn 8 is the new classic modern F1 corner...period. Up there with the greats at Spa, the Nurburgring, Monaco, etc... amazing.

Interesting qualifying. No real surprises given the order everyone went out in.

Turn 8 is a quadriple apex corner. The reason why it is such a challenge is that if you take the perfect line you can take it flat out, but if you try to take it flat out and you mess it up you'll have to lift or you'll go off. It was designed in such a way that it would put the cars at the limit of high speed cornering.

I agree with kensei, that corner complex is the bext modern corner complex in F1.
