What's the worst handling car in GT6?

If you can master The yellow Bird, there is nothing you cant drive. I think that the most difficult car to drive in GT its 100% unforgiving

You know I actually expected it to be the worst myself but I took it out to Motegi road course and much to my surprise I was able to keep in on the track and under control, only got loose a couple of times and nothing serious at all. I expected to spend half the day tuning it to try and get a clean lap where instead I got a clean lap in the first race and was pretty quick too.

The BTR on the other hand I did not even make it a full lap around Willow before I gave up and went back to the settings to make some changes. If you haven't driven it yet, give it a try around Willow springs without any tuning and see if you still think the Yellow Bird is the worst ;)

You obviously haven't tuned it. Mine is fast everywhere.

Another vote for the Tank
I anticipated that upon finding tuning information.

See, my problem is that I'm afraid to overdo it when tuning because I'm scared to make a problem worse or introduce whole new problems.

You're right, I just bought it. It's a psycho ax murderer!!!! it took me almost 10 laps at Suzuka Race track to more or less tame it.

Its not a car for racing. Only with the skills from Senna or Fangio you could race this car. I am making it my detox car.

Here is the tutorial on how to drive does old Ruff. I like I said, I have more or less tame it, and like guy in the video shows, thats actually how you drive it. No smooth lines in this car, pure control madness that's how you drive it. Its a great challenge, truly rewarding once you get the hang of it. Dont Tune it, tame it!!!!! you will see.

Like I mentioned I did not have any issues with the Yellow Bird, I thought it drove pretty well. The BTR was the one that was trying to kill me in every corner.

The 1937 Audi Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline '37. You have to put a ton of steering input before it starts actually turning. It was made to be a land speed car, so I can't seriously complain about it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did the driver die when he crashed the real car?

definitely the 1937 Audi Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline '37. You get a little oscillation in it and BAM, it spins. But in a straight line its super-fast.

And yes, the driver was testing the V16 on the Autobahn when a gust of wind blew him off the road. Supposedly he was going 298mph.

Sorry Bro, yes I am talking about the BTR, what I meant with the video that I posted, is that basically thats how you have to handle de BTR. I haven't driven the Yellow Bird in GT6 yet. My prior experience with the Yellow Bird was back in GT4.

You know, I didn't had any interest in the BTR prior your comment. Got to admit that I got pretty curious after you mention it, so I went and bought last Saturday night.

Like you say it does wants to kill you on every corner. To be honest, I don't like to tuned the cars, I only tune them when I want to make an easy buck racing. It is more fulfilling and more fun when you come across a car like the BTR and little by little you start to tame it. I spent the whole Sunday driving it (Zero tuned, I only just adjusted the brake balance 6 at the Front and 5 at the Back) I haven't master the car to a 100%, I think I am at a 40% or 50%. I have manege to learn how to drive it in Brands Hatch GP and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Let me tell you one thing, once you get the car familiar with the track, man is extremely fun!!!!. I ran it at the Tour of Europa in the the International B Class (Brands Hatch GP and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps) I had my heart at my throat on every corner, man it sure was fun and exciting (Manage to get the gold in both)

I really recommend spending the time in learning how to drive this car, its really satisfying.

The thing is I am a tuner and a pretty good one at that. I always drive cars before tuning them to see what they are like and how they can be improved. While it is fun to drive a car like this in its stock form it is a much better car with a bit of tuning. My goal with each car is to find the PP where it is most competitive and then tune it to where it can turn the fastest and most consistent laps on whatever track I am using. I have yet to see any car that can not be made better with a few minor tweaks though some of them do feel really good to start with.

The BTR starts at around 500, I think it is 500 once you change the oil and that is the PP I am using it at, but I did change the suspension, trans, clutch and such, then I have tuned the suspension to allow it to be driven very fast with out having to be so careful in the corners, the result is that it is about 5 seconds faster around the track than it was before and is easier to keep under control. It is still tricky and will still try to kill you but not nearly as hard as it was trying before ;)

I am quite sure that car is extremely fast once well tuned.
For what I have notice, is that it has a thing for the apex's. You are always able to find it.

I am really impressed with that car.

Whats your opinion on it, now that you have it well tuned (apart from the fact that it still trying to kill you)?

I like it quite a lot actually, I've been running it in the 20 Mile Willow Springs race. Still have not managed to get a first place finish but I have been close a bunch of times. It has been a lot of fun driving and trying though I am not sure it will ever be able to beat the FXX on Willow without adding some more HP.

With the tuning tweaks I have made to it it is more stable but I left a little of its nature in tact so it will kick out the tail in the corners if you want it to or if you do not drive it correctly, it can't take a tap from another car while turning and is hard to recover when it gets more than a little loose but it is a lot of fun and good practice as well.

Definitely a keeper :)

From my exper-(spin) experience the diablo GT- (spin) gt2 is probably the most-(spin) the most horrible-(spin) handling car in the game. It has NO DOWNFORCE and has 1000+ hp, and If you take it to Indy like I did, for like the wind, you'll end up wanting to throw your controller from gear lag, turbo lag, lag, spin, lag, and more spin. The car oversteers harder than anything I've ever seen in my time with either gt5 or gt6. /rant over.

I find the newer lambos, or the slab lambos as I call them the worst handling cars. Nothing about them feels crisp or precise, they just feel mushy and understeery and if a high speed corner is involved they spin unless you left foot brake. The supercar race at lemans with the reventon made me want to pull my hair out. That first turn (Dunlop turn I think) is murder and a spin fest. The older lambos like the countachs and even the diablo gt I enjoy driving, but the newer ones just feel sloppy.

Exactly my experience as well. I'm a 90's kid and loved the Diablo GT2 when it came out (poster an' errathang). So when I saw it in the game, it was the first major purchase I made... and got utterly, utterly disappointed with it, from the turbo lag to it's terrible (muffled) sound and it's awful oversteer. Since that time I tried it at Indy for "Like the wind" and experienced the lag-lag-lag-oversteer-lag-lag-etc phenomenon, I never picked it up again.

The Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO series is pretty terrible if you tune it up. The car looks so awesome painted in white with a low ride height and no spoiler, but the performance, especially the awful steering capabilities, is very disappointing. The car has severely massive understeer unless you make drastic changes to its handling via a fully customizable suspension kit. Otherwise, it's just too awful to drive.

It's a downer; the car looks so nice, but its handling is down there with the Veyron, if not worse than it.
