I done the 4wd drifting in the Audi RS6 avant ’08. 10:90 for the drivetrain. probably my new favourite drift car lol.

  2. GTRufus

I’d be more happy if PD would bring us also some A-spec seasonals like in GT5. The TT and DT are getting annoying. Every time i do a TT, it feels like i am doing a license test :/.

To be honest, I can’t seem to grasp the techniques for drifting and it doesn’t thrill me to learn. I usually just ignore the events.
As for the time trials, I can tolerate most of them an even get Gold on several. However, I do feel that some of the times should be changed for people using a standard controller

  4. Croatian_STIG

I tried drifting with my Veyron and it was actually very good haha good drift car, despite being 4WD.

Did the Silvia Drift last night. Have to say the Green Chrome paint chip you get is rather nice – normally hate chrome (only use on wheels usually) but this prize chip is a nice shiny green without being a nasty boy-racer visual monstrocity!

I’m have never been much of a fan of Super Laps. I have never been a fan of Drift Trials because I don’t get it and can’t do it (that’s my problem not PD’s). I would much prefer A-Spec style races with aggressive AI and meaningful prizes(high value cars).

Nice pack of seasonals. The 4WD drift was hardest for me, FF combo is epic, my fav seasonal so far in GT6.

GT 86 and FF Event are done with Gold but the drift events are negligible for me . I’m absolutely talentfree for drifting

I have just posted some drift tunes (both in my garage and the seasonal section of GTPlanet) which I used to get gold. I don’t consider myself a great drifter either. Hopefully they may be off some use to you.

By the way, why is there such a pp gap in the GT86/BRZ TT? A standard BRZ with oil is 63pp under the limit set, seems a bit much, though I still got bronze in my non tuned BRZ. Is there anyone out there who struggles with getting bronze, the bronze times are just so easy to get there seems little point them being there.

    1. Halcyon925

For me, I have a tuned up GT86 that is 495PP. I took off two or three upgrades, and got 478PP with 310HP. I easily got a Silver my first time, and I got a easy Gold a few tries later. My time is 1.40.5XX

  10. Brunskill777

Once again I can’t enter in my GT86 “racing”. It’s exactly the same pp as a normal GT86 but cost 2000 credits less (the only reason I bought it in the first place.) It’s practically identical so why is it not allowed. The same thing happened the last time we had a GT86/BRZ time trial. It’s stupid!

I love the cash you gain from these new events. Gain gold + have 5 log in days = a lot of cash obtained! :D

  12. TheFlyingScot

Looks great! I see we win some nice colours too! Need to do these when I get home later on! :D Hopefully soon a seasonal event will award Matte Purple…

  13. RACECAR

So we’ve gone from GT6’s first drift seasonal to having two drift seasonals alongside two super laps. About time the variety to GT6’s seasonals are getting interesting now, even if Drifting is a major thorn in mah side. If they managed to throw in some multi-race series seasonals like in GT5 (and if they redoable after the first attempt), that would complete the seasonals for me.

  14. pwright35

Well thought we were gonna get some a-spec races maybe next week. The time trials are fun golded the ff nonracing car with that clio rs 11 in 1 lap. Now just got to bust that 86 brz one. The tune for the last clio seasonal event will gold you and thats with the ds3.

  15. Halcyon925

The hell? I was preparing my GT86, which is 495PP. Before I go on the Settings screen, it says ‘495PP’. I exit the Settings, and it says ‘480PP’. C’mon, Polyphony!

    1. Halcyon925

I know that it even says that the event is ‘480PP’ on here, but they quickly made a change in the event, then changed it back. That has to be the case.

    2. Croatian_STIG

I investigated this and found out; there’s no problem… you must’ve looked at the PP near the top of the screen, which shows your car’s PP, BHP and Weight, with the PP saying you have 495PP.
