Polyphony have released the latest batch of Seasonal Events in Gran Turismo 6. It’s all multi-car racing this round, with no time or drift trials. The events cover a range of difficulties and performance levels, featuring cars new and old.

Embracing the warmer weather of Spring, the prize paints include a variety of green hues, and one of the events offers up a German open-top car (though probably not the one you’d expect). You’ll also have the chance to scoop up two of the more modern iterations of the evergreen Nissan GT-R. You can find all the details below, and don’t hesitate to swing by our GT6 Seasonal Events forum to get the low-down on the events in more intricate detail.

All events will be available through June 1st, 2016 at 0300 GMT/UTC.

@spikyone there is 1 car in particular that in light of the ayrton senna content within gt6 i failed to mention, and that is the iconic classic marlboro mclaren mp4/4 driven by ayrton senna himself, it is baffling to me that despite the ayrton senna license stuff they got going on they didn’t have that car in it, the competition like rfactor, and most painfully even forza 6 got it through an ebay expansion pack :(, come this e3 they better surprise me with a mega uber great beta/demo just something otherwise i’ll just go pc and stick with assetto corsa and project cars and rfactor, shame though gt fell from grace,i hope they can get back in the race cause right now there being lapped left, right and centre.

Worst selection of prize cars ever – a painfully slow boat that I’ll never use, a fantasy car, and a concept car with fantasy performance. The least PD could do is fix the Lego-brick liveries on the cars that are carried over from GT4 if they’re going to continually give them as prizes.

@Rjo, agree completely. Too many slow and old Japanese cars (does anyone care about the 1972 Honda Life Step Van?), and too many variants of Skyline, RX7, MX5, S2000… There are 17 S2000 road cars in GT6, all within 6PP of each other! Get rid of some of those and give us some cars that are actually different. Ferrari 360/430/458/488 GT cars, the Maserati MC12, the Aston Martin DBR9 and 2009/2011 LMP cars, etc. would be nice in a game calling itself GT.

Only hope i have and it’s kinda directed at the upcoming gt on ps4,let’s hope they keep it fresh with events, content and more importantly a good updated car list with cars that people actually wanna drive then ones that no one cares for o.O

    1. Chaos Control

I get bored of always using R34’s and Ferrari’s, most of the time I like using crap cars or ignored ones for fun. And alot of them have potential, like the Opal Speedster, ’00 Camaro, Iroc-z, and Dodge Neon SRT just as a few examples. I think it’s fun to have pieces of turds to mess around with :)

I’m with you Chaos Control. I think this is why I’m still playing this game. To take the real world cars to the limits, against the odds. This is why I don’t get that excited about the P1’s and LaF’s, 918’s etc. in Forza or where not. I have always had that little bit more pleasure thrashing the beaters against the superiors and even if not winning – the satisfaction has been always greater if coming close or having the closest combat against the GT6 AI. Make no mistake, I do like the afore mentioned hypers but something about competing against te odd cars with even more odd makes me tingle. I just hope they keep churning the mundanes for the next version and not only stick with the sports and hypers. ;)

The cicle is: 3 Races, 2 weeks later 2 time trails + 2 drift races, 2 weeks later 3 races etc.

2 weeks ago there have been 2 time trails + 2 driftraces. So there will be driftraces again in 2 weeks.
