Mercedes-AMG GT3 to Appear in Project CARS on April 15th

AMG-GT3_profile

Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division is currently preparing for the release of its latest hot product – the Mercedes-Benz GT3. It was first shown to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, with clear intentions to bring the very best from the strong base of the new Mercedes-Benz GT, and prepare the manufacturer for the future FIA GT3 season.

Before it appears on sale this year, certain driving game enthusiasts will be in the position to lay their hands on a virtual copy of the car, as Slightly Mad Studios announced Project CARS will see the introduction of the car next Friday, free of charge:

Even though we cannot be overly surprised by this news once we consider that nearby driving simulators Assetto Corsa and Driveclub have already included the car, it’s nonetheless good to hear that another contender on the market will appeal to the burgeoning GT3-class fanbase.

    why should we care about a boring merc. I want to see old gt cars. like a viper, lister storm, marcos gt1/gt3, mosler, jaguar xj220, there are so many exiting cars in gt racing that should be demanded before this boring turd.

      The GT3 class is probably the most popular class of car to race online in both PCARS and AC and they are by far the most popular sims on Steam. Only makes sense to keep filling out the lineup.

    Here some German lessons (no offense):

    Sildenfingen -> Sindelfingen
    Nordshelieife -> Nordschleife

    I know it`s difficult.

      Do you mean on Assetto Corsa?

      Anyway. I’m looking forward to trying this in Project Cars. I’ve seen a video of someone driving it out on a PC and the sound is very nice.
