Project CARS Update 8.0 Now Available on PS4 and Xbox One

The 8.0 Update is now available to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners, and is just in time to prepare the game for next car pack set to arrive this Friday, January 29th.

The latest update addresses an issue where players were unable to save setups to DLC tracks, and further adjusted the heating of under-inflated tires – the latter of which was affected by the discontinuity fix.

That’s a taste of what’s been introduced in the latest update for Project CARS. For the entire rundown of what’s new and improved, have a look at the original news posting here when the update was first made available to PC owners.

    To me the heading of the news is technically “TRUE” that they are both “now available”, but since the Xbox patch came after ps4 for a while so the heading itself does have some misleading on message it originally supposed to be delivering

      It seems that Sony allows updates to be released once they are certified. Mine came down last Thursday 4:30am EST, which was different from the previous which came the Tuesday before the PSN store update kicks in around 2pm EST.

      @beseiden, the DLC Stanceworks Track Expansion, the free car Ford Falcon FG and the fifth pack of community liveries comes now Friday 29th January available for download.

    Why giving unreal information???

    THE PLAYSTATION 4 GET THE UPDATE THE SAME DAY PC GOT LAST WEEK.. Not today…

    Today only the Xbox One version landed…

    About the update, finally better tyres than in the 7.0 update, gets better on temperature now, but overheating is still broken, and the visual HUD of the tyres isn’t working good either.. Let’s see next month with the 9.0 if they attempt to fix it

      The information is not “unreal” as that implies it’s imaginary, and there’s literally no reason to be shouting.

      @Donnced
      You mean ‘incorrect’ information.

      @ Michael L.
      ‘Non-real’ would be another substitution for imaginary (although that’s just my inner mathematician I suppose). In addition, if the post was placed while being chased by a bear, puma, or some other large carnivore there may indeed have been a reason to be shouting. Although, you’d think the block capitals would continue through the whole message…

      @GrumpyGrumps yes indeed, incorrect was wat I’m meant.

      Thanks for the correction, English is not my maternal language and sometimes it’s complicated to do the correct translation from your mind ho is thinking in a another language.

      And @Michael L. I wasn’t shouting, but this time the PlayStation 4 and PC version where launched last week and also i have to say that each version has his own chancelog, cause in the 8.0 patch they fixed an issue for the FFB in the PS4 version for Thrustmaster wheels that aren’t in the PC version and either in The Xbox One version that landed six days after the other platforms.

      I just want to see the correct information / news here on GTplanet and don’t go to search on other sites.
