Nissan has posted a new GT Sport teaser on its YouTube account. The manufacturer and long-term Gran Turismo partner focuses on the Nissan GT-R included in the game. Lasting only 25 seconds, the car is front and center for the whole duration.

Turn 10 Studio’s newest racer, Forza Motorsport 7, blasted onto the stage of E3 yesterday. FM7 marks the American studio’s first title for the recently announced Xbox One X platform.

Another tense round of the 2017 Super GT series has recently concluded. After 65 laps, Kazuki Nakajima and James Rossiter took the No.36 au TOM’S Lexus LC500 to a decisive win in the top GT500 class at Autopolis.

The second race of the 2017 Super GT series held at Fuji Speedway concluded last Thursday. After 110 laps of high-speed competition, Yuji Tachikawa and Hiroaki Ishiura from team Zent Cerumo (#38) claimed a top podium placement in the GT500 class and overall.

Owners of the renowned R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R will be pleased to hear that Nissan has announced a initiative to help keep their rides on the road. Under the Heritage Parts Program Nissan will be producing authentic OE-spec parts specifically developed for its classic sports cars.

Back in June 2015, GTPlanet interviewed Kazunori Yamauchi at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. During the chat, we asked him how cars are selected for inclusion in a Gran Turismo game and he gave the following answer:

Earlier this year, team Impul Calsonic announced it would be taking part in the 2017 Super GT season with the help of Jann Mardenborough and Hironobu Yasuda. Taking place at Okayama International Circuit, the season opener bestowed the team with respectable 8th position in the GT500 class.
