Two very curious reported discoveries in GTPlanet’s Forums are attracting quite a bit of attention today.

A new batch of A-Spec Seasonal Events are now available in Gran Turismo 5, featuring Honda’s iconic Civic. Cars may have no more than 415pp and tires can be no better than Comfort/Soft.

As you have probably heard by now, GT5‘s 2.09 update launched last night and brought with it some of the most interesting changes to the game in quite some time, addressing many common player complaints, including the sound of the Honda Weider HSV-010.

The 2012 Gran Turismo Awards were held last night in Las Vegas, where Kazunori Yamauchi himself selected the David Eckert’s Ford Mach Forty as “Best in Show” from among the five category finalists.

A new website and video trailers have just been published for the 2012 U.S. GT Academy reality TV show, which premiers on Spike TV, Thursday, November 1st, at 11:30pm Eastern Time (check your local listings for other time zones).
