In case you missed the U.S. GT Academy Racer X competition final’s live broadcast from E3 last week, Sony has uploaded all of the day’s footage to their YouTube channel.

During the Racer X competition finals at E3, Sony revealed the release date for the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 6 demo which will host this year’s GT Academy: Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

The last stage of GT Academy 2013’s Racer X competition is about to take place at Sony’s booth inside E3, and it’s being streamed live on their Ustream channel.

The schedule for the U.S. GT Academy 2013’s “Racer X” wildcard competition has just been released, and it’s going to be bigger and more competitive than ever.

With the start of GT Academy 2013 right around the corner with the upcoming GT6 demo, Nissan’s marketing executives have shared some of the massive numbers which explain the success – and their continued support of – the annual competition.

GT Academy 2013 is gearing up in the United States, and information about the coveted “Racer X” wildcard position has finally been released.

If you’re eager to give Gran Turismo 6’s new driving physics a try for yourself, you won’t have long to wait: the official PlayStation UK site has confirmed a demo of the game will be available to download on the PlayStation Store in July 2013.

Last year’s Le Mans 24 Hours was spiced up for fans of Gran Turismo with two GT Academy winners in two cars going head-to-head, as Lucas Ordoñez drove the #42 Greaves entry with the father-son Brundle duo and Jordan Tresson was aboard the #23 Signatech entry with Franck Mailleux and Oliver Lombard.

Sony has just published a video officially announcing the 15 Years of Gran Turismo event, to be held at Silverstone on May 15th.

Since the Middle Eastern and South African regions of GT Academy concluded last month, Sony and Nissan have kept quiet regarding plans for the competition this year, but that could be about to change.

Though Nissan have hinted at an invitational appearance during the season, it means the four graduates will not be racing in the UK’s top GT series in 2013. It’s likely their calendars (along with previous graduates’) will be announced when Nissan formalise their 2013 schedule at new Nismo headquarters opening in Yokohama on 26th February.
