Boasting more than 180 vehicles spread across over two dozen categories, Project CARS 2 is shaping up to be quite the adventure for racing fans.

The latest build of GT Sport shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed has given us a glimpse at the title’s pit stop mechanics. Captured by GTPlanet user Aderrm, the video shows how pitting currently works in the latest GT title.

Project CARS 2 will include a series first by introducing live pit stops during races. As per a new blog post on the official game site, pitting has been vastly expanded since the first title.

Turn 10 Studios revealed Forza Motorsport 7 at E3 last month. Set for release this October, the seventh entry introduces players to the game’s cover star: Porsche’s 911 GT2 RS.

Forza Motorsport 7 has been awarded E3 “Racing Game of The Show” by the Games Critic Awards judge panel. To take the crown, Turn 10’s latest entry in the Motorsport series beat out stiff competition from the likes of GT Sport and Project CARS 2.

With the announcement of a fall release window, Polyphony Digital has revved up the GT Sport PR machine and set it into action. As part of this, CEO Kazunori Yamauchi recently appeared in a new IGN video looking at how GT Sport aims to re-capture that Gran Turismo magic.

Imagine if a company made software that could run Forza Horizon 3 flawlessly on PS4 Pro. Now imagine if it widely distributed that software for a small fee, and required only a retail copy of the game to operate — no modding or hacking required on the part of the customer.

UPDATE: Stefano Casillo of Kunos Simulazioni debunked the rumors of this car’s inclusion in Assetto Corsa (at least in an official capacity) on Twitter.
