GT Sport players went without any new content in June. While Update 1.21 made way towards the end of the month, it primarily focused on the FIA Championship.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the GT Sport Mileage Exchange, you’ll know its schedule by now. As last week saw a refresh of all items, this week it’s everything but the cars.

Gran Turismo Sport has been with us for almost nine months now, and a little more than three million of us have picked up a copy.

We’re kicking off the week with our latest Gran Turismo Sport photo mode competition. It’s a fun one, sure to test your compositional skills — and maybe your livery-crafting ones as well.

One topic sim racers often discuss is how a game compares to real life. Unfortunately for most of us, taking a real car to the track to compare it to the digital counterpart is difficult. But when you’re the “Drift King” Keiichi Tsuchiya, it’s a cinch.

It’s been around nine months now since Gran Turismo Sport first launched. Following a steady start, Polyphony Digital’s racer has hit a new milestone.

If you’re like us, you’ve sunk a fair amount of time into Gran Turismo Sport’s livery editor. Soon, there will be another in-game avenue for your creativity, as Polyphony Digital has teased a matching editor for the virtual driver gear.

Those of you familiar with GT Sport know that there is a weekly scheduled server maintenance period. Every Wednesday, at 0500 UTC, Polyphony Digital flips the switch to turn the server off, turning it back on again two hours later.

Right on cue, Polyphony Digital has updated the Mileage Exchange. As expected, it’s all-change this week, bringing different cars along with all the other items. It’s a well established major/minor update cycle that shows no sign of changing.

Summer is traditionally the season of vacations. How appropriate then, that Polyphony has put out another teaser for the upcoming GT Sport July update: It looks like players will be heading to the south of France.

Polyphony has taken to Twitter to confirm the next major game update for GT Sport is coming at the end of July. With this, we see a brief glimpse of what could be a new track — or a returning classic.

If you’ve been doing online races in Gran Turismo Sport recently, chances are you’ve noticed something new.

We’re back! The last livery competition, like the ones before, was a huge success. Community member JKCreativeworks set a creative theme that was followed up by a track day with the liveries made for the competition.

Another Tuesday, another Mileage Exchange update.

GT Sport players have been celebrating the start of the FIA Championships this week. The game’s signature esports feature pits drivers from around the world against each other in two events: the Nations Cup and the Manufacturer Series.

Well this is a surprise. A used car dealership has announced one of its wares is coming to Gran Turismo. No, not GT Sport — but whatever’s next from Polyphony.

Since Gran Turismo Sport launched we’ve finally gotten the long-awaited livery editor. With this feature you’re able to create pretty much anything you can think of, and if you didn’t know, you can import your own decals made on your computer as well! Be sure to check out the tutorial thread on how to do this.

After a slightly longer-than-expected maintenance period, the latest Gran Turismo Sport update is now live. As expected, it’s a minor one, with the focus on the now-live FIA Championships.

The inaugural GT Sport FIA Championships get underway today. If we had to guess, Nissan will be a particularly popular choice in the Manufacturers Series. That’s because four lucky (and quick) players will win a trip to Japan.
