my family was too poor to afford a home game machine, but I finally got a Breakout/Pinball one around 1980
I never knew GP Circuit came out on Commodore, only ever played the pc version. I remember there was some challenge where you had to do a 3 lap race and pit somewhere during the race and try to win that way.I had a C64 too. Pitstop II was amazing two-player game. I think Test Drive I came to C64 too but the machine was a bit too limited for that. I even had "Grand Prix Circuit". That was a harcore F1 simulator. Wow the graphics were awesome.![]()
I had a soft spot for F1 2010, it just felt right for me, after they patched it.... F1 2013 is my GOAT F1 game...

I've not been happy with them recently.Perusing through the RSS discord and my oh my some of these guys are borderline insufferable lol
I'm pretty sure it just updated the names and pit timers. The other day I got an email from RSS that there was an update to their GT-N pack which is two cars the GT-N Protech 96 Porsche and the GT-N Furiano Ferrari. But I already had the GT-N Darche 96. Is there a difference between the Protech and the Darche? I can't see any. Looks like the same specs. Even though it showed I had purchased the GT-N pack I didn't have either one of the Protech or the Furiano in my cars folder.
So they just changed the name from Darche to Protech? I ran the Protech version just now and some of the AI cars have Darche on their liveries.I'm pretty sure it just updated the names and pit timers.
Are you sure you installed it correctly in the first place? From conversations in the past you do seem to get a bit confused of what goes where. The other day I got an email from RSS that there was an update to their GT-N pack which is two cars the GT-N Protech 96 Porsche and the GT-N Furiano Ferrari. TLDR: All they did was fix the broken pit timer for fuel and tire changes, Updated the UI to be more in line with what they call their current Porsche and Ferrari cars. Nothing else was changed (unfortunately), So yes. All previous liveries will work fine on the new updated version. The other day I got an email from RSS that there was an update to their GT-N pack which is two cars the GT-N Protech 96 Porsche and the GT-N Furiano Ferrari. I feel the sameMaybe we have reached the top. I'd say AC1 with AI fixes would be pretty much perfect sim. It has some blatant issues which probably never get addressed. We might never get another "open platform" to mod, either.
But when you look at the beginnings (Sprint 2, Grand Prix Circuit) it's quite amazing where we are now... and what kind of incredible sims we have. At least we are in much better position than say, football fans (with crap FIFA releases). The standard of driving sims is unbelievably high compared to other sports.

Agreed, very talented modder. But a few of his cars have the headlights on by default, which is a little weird. Has anyone ever worked out how to fix this in the config?![]()
'07 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Release - Maid Cafe
Requires CSP 0.2.7+ General Info: Converted by Me; Tyre model by Ini-F a.k.a. Emfini. Model Origin - Gran Turismo 7, Gran Turismo 6. /// Owner's Manual: EXTRA_A - Running Lights (DRLs, interior button lights) EXTRA_B - Fog Lights EXTRA_C - Interior Lamp EXTRA_D - Heads Up Display...boosty.to
This is probably the best 'Vette C6 Z06 I have tested, just released it today. Perfect handling and car modelling. Maid Cafe makes some serious good mods.
I guess so. It's been so long ago I don't really remember. But I do wonder why I only had the Darche and not the Furiano. But anyway the are both in there now.Are you sure you installed it correctly in the first place? From conversations in the past you do seem to get a bit confused of what goes where.
Absolutely sucks Nuzzi's apps aren't open source or developed collaboratively in any way.I feel the same

but started to learn Lua sdk in parallel... as much as I discover Assetto Corsa script possibilities, my curiosity was triggered, I want to spend some time to understand why AI issues can't be tackled. A part from the Nuzzi app, I did not find many AI apps, and no open source, maybe that would be a nice project.
The only downside of this name change is that the cars no longer appear in your grid presets if you had made any, so you’ll have to add them all again. So they just changed the name from Darche to Protech? I ran the Protech version just now and some of the AI cars have Darche on their liveries.
The other reason I'm asking is that I have a big skin pack from 2005 for the Darche and was wondering if they would work on the Protech? That would be great if I could just move them to Protech and then delete the Darche I have.
they are planning on doing a more comprehensive rework in the future.TLDR: All they did was fix the broken pit timer for fuel and tire changes, Updated the UI to be more in line with what they call their current Porsche and Ferrari cars. Yeah that stuff is beyond my abilities. I tend to run both of these cars as single make series. The only downside of this name change is that the cars no longer appear in your grid presets if you had made any, so you’ll have to add them all again.
Considering that it took them nearly six years to fix a simple issue that took one minute to resolve and has been plaguing the mod pack since its release, I’m expecting this rework to start when the developers’ sons have taken over the business.they are planning on doing a more comprehensive rework in the future.
Man, I spend endless nights on this in the 80's o a C64. Really a revolution at the time.Speaking of Geoff Crammond, here's REVS on the BBC Micro model B - The first game that ever gave me motion sickness!

I have several F1 titles in my heart (F1 2001, GP3/4, F1 Challenge 99-01). But none of them will ever beat the very first, F1 Dream.❤️No F1 game can compete with Auto Racing for Intellivision... a must-have

I remember the gear number thing made the tape (cars) turn faster or slow down if you put it in neutral and I think it would blink red if you crashed. I remember it being a little loud since it had that motor to turn the tape.I HAD THIS!!!

The question is, what do you want to achieve with a Lua app in terms of AI?I feel the same
