Hopefully the Spec III intro theme isn't Moon Over the Castle again... despite Kaz already saying that he doesn't want to use it all the time, that is.
Imagine if they put remix of My Favorite Game as spec 3 intro music. It be very nostalgic and proper nod to GT history.

But then they have to license My Favorite Game again and that is very unlikely.

That's... rather unlikely, since the last time licensed music was in an intro movie was in the launch version of GT5. Since GT5 Spec II, it's all been either Daiki Kasho, MOtC, or an orchestral theme in the case of GT Sport.

Nah, my best guess is, if it isn't MOtC again, Daiki Kasho feat. Pharrell Williams. And I bet you a million bucks that we'll gonna hear about it in LA in three weeks. Since LA is known for music in general and all.

Yes, very unlikely. :)

When I think Los Angeles I think movies no so much music though. :P

Basically, any livery shared featuring the Dewalt logo usually end up getting removed. As this doesn't appear to happen with anyone else (Not even Nintendo ironically), its strongly suggests that Dewalt themselves (Or parent company Black & Decker) are specifically behind this happening.
To add, not only other Stanley Black & Decker brands are unaffected, Mac Tools, another brand of theirs, is an in-game built-in decal sponsor.

(From what I heard it also affecting Forza Motosport '23 when it got NASCAR as well?)

I wonder if we’ll get a surprise like the AI traffic in the Spec II trailer. We eventually got(after a year and a half) slow traffic in the May ‘25 weekly challenge.
No mention of SOPHY update/upgrades, but I’m still wondering if we’ll see some tandem racing together with SOPHY.

I'd love if Spec III would allow to remove the Sophy Emoji's. Darn she loves to spam her emoji's. (Edit to fix grammar.)

On other hand, I keep betting on a second-gen Escalade on cultural relevance reasons, and considering the H2 had the same cultural impact...

I mean, people said the Japanese Kangoo scene was how the Kangoo got in-game, right?
By the same logic, I think a Dajiban would be a far more likely addition than an SUV that was only culturally relevant in America.

This is a countdown to the reveal of the new Toyota/Lexus sports car their new GT3 is meant to be based on. 5 December is when it'd hit zero to save you all the maths.

Seems rather conveniently timed for PD to fill one of those open car slots...
I wouldnt be surprised if they added the road car first and then later the GT3 race car

I wonder if they'll utilise the Four-Wheel Steering Controller available in the tuning shop but unavailable for any car with four-wheel steering.

Which also reminds me that none of the cars with four-wheel steering have any animation for the four-wheel steering, so that too.

I've owned a car with 4ws and its very obvious.

There are a couple of cars that do have the animation for four wheel steering, like the 911 GT3 RS (991) and the AMG GT Black Series (both of these cars also have the 4WS Controller). Though there are plenty that should have the animation too but for some reason don't, like the GT-Rs.

Also, the 4WS Controller is pretty pointless, since the only thing it does is limit how much you want the rear wheels to steer, as far as I can tell. It doesn't allow the rear wheels to "turn more", so its only use is if you want to restrict how the car behaves during turn in.

That is your prelude? You got real good taste it if is so! :D

I hope there are PSVR2 upgrades in it. We are blind on almost everything that's happening on track, which makes it hard to come up with strategies during the race.
  • VR IQ on PS5 Pro could use an improvement as well, maybe using PSSR like No Man's Sky.
  • Lobby needs more filters. I don't want to join 4 lap races (too short), or join a server only to find out it just started qualify or racing and all I can do is spectate.
  • A stretch, but I would love an official app on mobile/PC for telemetry, spotter/engineer and more info, as well as future B-Spec controls :P

At least the old GT-Rs have the Super HICAS which, being computer driven, may well be smart enough to not do anything at a standstill as it actually turns the rear wheels differently - even in different directions - in different driving situations. The same reason may be why they can't have the controller equipped as there's more to it than just turning them in relation to the fronts.

After reading more on the subject, I do think you are correct. The HICAS system doesn't function if the car is not moving (which I didn't know). I've never seen it work in GT7 when the car was moving, but then again, I've never actually tried to see if it did. Though, if it does, it shouldn't be easy to spot since the rear steering was limited to 1°, from what I've read.

Something similar should happen with the GTO and the RX-7 (FC)*. Considering the 4WS system these cars use, I agree that it probably wouldn't make sense (or be useful) for them to have the Four-Wheel Steering Controller.

Anyway, we are clearly getting off topic...

*Not completely sure if the FC RX-7 we have in GT7 has Mazda's DTSS suspension, but I believe it does.

I have two options that i would like to see in next update:

* In used car market would be great to add cars with some upgrades or and some cars full tuned as well!!!

* Let us the option to change transmission in cars with automatic gearbox. like Nissan Qashqai that is a total crap in this configuration....
What they should do is add another option in GT auto shop mode, to allow a "Gearbox swap", so just like the engine one. SO we can change certain cars like an M5 (yet to be the the game) or crappy CVT SUV's from Full auto to SMG to a pure Manual conversion just as an example.

Manuals FTW!!!!

Fully agreed. It's very odd to have very elaborate engine swaps, but we're unable to swap engines as well.

Sidenote, I'm starting to annoyed about "oh wow 8 car update" given we're going 3 months with no updates, i.e. the car additions are nothing special (quantitively speaking). Full cop out IMO.

(Hmmmm sounds like the complaints are starting early)

(which should be the intro for all World Series events)
Admittedly, yeah, that was weird. They did use the organ version as the GTWS anthem in 2020, but never again since.

But like I said, maybe Kaz just doesn't want to use it for some reason. -shrug-
