Mini has released full design sketches for their “Clubman Vision Gran Turismo” concept car, after the first in-game GT6 screenshots were leaked early this morning.
Designed as a racing version of the Mini Clubman, the virtual car will be driven by “All4” all-wheel drive. Producing 395hp, the car can reach 0-100 Kmph in 3.5 seconds, and will top out at 290 km/h. The Clubman will also feature LED headlamps, 22-inch wheels, and an interesting “Cyber Silver” color.
“MINI is celebrating great many highly emotional motorsport successes. The MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo transfers it literally on the virtual track in Gran Turismo 6. The image of a go kart on the street inspires us again and again,” said Anders Warming, head of Mini Design.

I knew Mini’s Vision GT project was gonna be based of a Mini Cooper because Mini Coopers is been their top automobile from the start.
It’s not a good looking car for this project but at the other hand I cant wait to see what could we expect for this car.

The 2x was the first closed cockpit VGT with a fully detailed interior.
The 2X isn’t closed nor does it have a fully detailed interior.
Enduranceguy, the 2X has a premium interior and its design means the helmet holds all of the HUD elements.
You are right about the 2X being open top. The game coded it as an open roof car.
