Project CARS is no stranger to the ESL as players have been enjoying fast and fair competition across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for several weeks now, and just this past Sunday hundreds more gathered to participate in the latest round of competition in the second round of the Kick Off Cup.

The #23 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 line-up of Alex Buncombe (GB), Katsumasa Chiyo (JAP) and Wolfgang Reip (BEL) has won the Blancpain Endurance PRO Driver’s Championship. Third place in a nail-biting, season-closing race at the Nürburgring in Germany sealed the title win for Nissan after a season of hard racing in what is accepted to be the biggest GT championship in the world.

Today, for XBox One players in North America and Australia, the wait is over – Forza Motorsport 6 is on store shelves. Japan and Europe must wait until the 17th and 18th respectively, while those racers that sprung for the digital Ultimate Edition have been enjoying the game since last Thursday (see GTPlanet’s review here).

As I’ve alluded to for the past several weeks, September is almost certainly going to result in my unfortunate demise. Slightly Mad Studios have begun teasing this month’s upcoming DLC for Project CARS. This news comes just two weeks after the recently released Old vs. New Car Pack that introduced iconic classic cars and their modern day counterparts.

Forza 6 reminds me of a 10 year old game. There, I’ve said it.

Forza Motorsport 6 releases this Thursday the 10th for early-access players, and next week for the remainder of the globe. GTPlanet has early access to the full version of the game, and now that reviews are popping up online, we can start showing you some of the different aspects of the game.
