UPDATE: Although these numbers were reported in official court documents, they have since been discredited. Thanks to detective work from NeoGAF and here in GTPlanet’s community, we see the judge quoted sales numbers by VIRAG in their original claims against SCEA, made in July of 2014.

Every now and then we hear of a lawsuit brought against the Gran Turismo games, and it seems that the US arm of Sony’s entertainment branch has been locked in a curious legal dispute for the last 12 months over Gran Turismo. Just like the last legal rumblings, it all comes down to signage, in both Gran Turismo 6 and its predecessor title Gran Turismo 5.

Ferrari 488 GTB Now Available in Driveclub

As teased in last week’s news, Ferrari’s twin-turbocharged 488 GTB is now available in Driveclub as a free downloadable add-on. This isn’t the first time Ferrari has used video games as a way of introducing their newest models to potential customers as Forza Motorsport 3 and Gran Turismo 5 were used to showcase the 488 GTB’s predecessor, the 458 Italia.

All Five V8 Supercar Manufacturers Announced in Forza 6 Partnership

Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport 6 has picked up another series, in addition to the entire Formula E grid that was announced at the beginning of summer: the ever-popular V8 Supercar series from Australia. Today, straight from the official series website, the ten cars that will be present in the game come launch day were detailed, with cars from each of the five current manufacturers. With Mount Panorama returning from Forza 5, players will be able to live out the series in ways that haven’t been possible before on a console racer.
