Bathurst bit back almost immediately though, as Chiyo scraped the wall at the Cutting and had to limp back to the pits with some unsightly rear end damage. The team is confident of getting it all straightened up for the start of the race, which will be taken by Wolfgang Reip.

Paintable Rear Wings Coming to GT6 in Future Update

In a new post on Polyphony Digital’s PitStop blog, there’s a small mention of a new feature which is slated to come to Gran Turismo 6 in a future update: paintable custom rear wings. According to the remarks, you’ll be able to match the wing’s color to the car its on or select any other color for which you own the paint chip in the game.

Alpine Vision GT Concept Revealed in Paris

Here it is! The first Vision GT concept car of 2015 was officially revealed during a special presentation at the Festival Automobile International in Paris earlier this evening, where Gran Turismo 6 was also awarded an innovation prize for the Vision GT program.

GT6 Quick Match Events to Complement Bathurst 12 Hours in February

Nissan has confirmed that 2012 GT Academy European champion Wolfgang Reip will be driving the factory team’s #35 GT-R NISMO GT3 in the upcoming Bathurst 12 Hours, to be held February 6th-8th. He’ll be joined by fellow NISMO athletes Alex Buncombe and Katsumasa Chiyo.

Special GT6 Seasonal Event Celebrates Daytona 24 Hours

A special Seasonal Event has been made available in Gran Turismo 6, celebrating the 24 Hours of Daytona taking place at the actual circuit this weekend. Of course, the Seasonal Event will be much shorter at only 24 minutes in length.
