Goodwood, one of the UK’s best-known automotive culture hotspots, is offering a pretty special prize bundle for an online competition in Gran Turismo Sport. Prizes include tickets for the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, a rally stage passenger experience, and a PC sim racing rig.

Ford has sharpened up its GT supercar and unveiled a new track-focused variant at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The new GT “Mk II” is the result of development between Ford Performance and Multimatic, who developed the Le Mans-winning GTE race car.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is arguably the biggest public celebration of motoring in the world. The latest update for Gran Turismo 6, version 1.20, has just gone live, and brings with it an update to the Goodwood Hill Climb course and one of the more hotly anticipated Vision GT cars: the radical SRT Tomahawk.

Since its inclusion in Gran Turismo 6 was first announced back in 2013, the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed has had a close relationship with the franchise. As many will recall, last year saw the in-game track updated to include the 2014 “Central Feature” sculpture at Goodwood – a soaring art installation that features different manufacturers and changes each year.

The Aston Martin DP-100 Vision GT concept car was fully revealed today at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The DP-100 is a new creation from the Aston Martin design team exclusively for Gran Turismo 6. The virtual concept will be made available as a free download for GT6 some time this July.
