Tickets are now available for the Jalopnik Film Festival, an automotive culture and film event to be held in New York City on September 18th and 19th.
As previously announced, Gran Turismo 6 is sponsoring the entire event, which promises driving simulators running the latest build of the new game, along with “access to the game’s creators”.
“Early Bird All-Access” tickets sold out in just a few hours, and are now going to be available for $80. Jalopnik notes this is a “limited engagement”, so if you’re planning to go, don’t wait around too long to make your reservations.
Needless to say, this isn’t something that GTPlanet readers in the New York area will want to miss. Several community members and site staff have already confirmed their attending – leave a note in the comments below if you’re going to be there, too!

Why this couldn’t be in the summer before I went back to school. I only live a half hour from New York.
they are most likely trying to expand their audience rather than us (i am a high school senior {oh big deal}) kids who are always on.. Plus, I dont think they really want a HUGE section only at the demo area..
Too bad I don’t live close or I’d definitely go. It’d cost me at least $1000 to attend!!! Also, I’m planning to attend the F1 Race in Texas later this year, so all my savings will go to that.

Im thinking about going to the WEC race there this month… 6 hours vs 1 and 1/2 of racing, id choose the 6
So pissed it’s already sold out. I live in Suffolk County on Long Island and begged my mom to let me go alone. But sadly, can’t go. I’m more pissed about not getting to see RUSH than I am about the GT6 demo.
