Volkswagen have just revealed a surprise teaser for what appears to be a second Vision Gran Turismo concept car from the company, following the Vision GTI concept launched last May.
This one is referred to as the “Volkswagen GTI Supersport” on VW’s website, with a brief video that asks viewers if they’re ready for the “second level”. Otherwise, there’s not much else known about the car yet.
The Worthersee 2015 website – the world’s largest Audi and VW car show, which the companies have used to reveal concepts in the past – does show a slightly modified version of the Vision GTI with a roof, which might offer some hints.

We have the roadster version, this is going to be nothing but the coupe version.
So I believe I have an idea of what we might be getting and it won’t be simply the first car with a roof. Based on its overall profile (both with the sheet covering it and going off the rear shot from the video), I think what we are getting will basically be a road going WRC Golf.

So this is actually coming to GT6? April 1st is the worst day to reveal something legit since the majority of people would assume that it’s a joke instead.

The car is real. The April Fools joke is thinking it will sound like that in GT…lol.
Don’t know if you’ve driven the Alpine VGT or not, but the sound is really damn sweet; there’s a nice, mechanical rasp to it. My hopes are pretty high.
I’ve heard it and I’m not impressed. It’s only impressive relative to the tripe that PD has called “engine sounds” for the last 10 years. In relation to just about every other game on the market, PD has a long, long, long way to go.

Lol we’ve finally got to half way on the list of VGTs and then they extend the list again lol. Still, I have enjoyed driving the first one, so I look forward to this. I don’t think this will come along for a while yet though.
Since Alfa Romeo dropped out, there’s room for one more.
So basically a hardtop version of the last VW VGT with, I guess, better performance? Hell yeah.
Interestingly it has a totally different exhaust design than the Vision GTI Roadster had (dual round pipes vs a totally obscure center exit exhaust) , so it is obviously more than just adding a top. Now the real question, is this going to come in a trailer with GT7 where that is in game sound/visuals, or was this created by VW with real footage of a real concept ;-) Here is the link from the video http://www.volkswagen.com/visiongti.
