Bourdais.

What you should be asking is why Texas is there. The JW win in 2012.

I still wish I would wake up to look at the remaining schedule one day and find Fontana there again.

In case you missed it, Dr. Jerry Punch is one of the many being let go by ESPN and, a few minutes ago, Allen Bestwick tweeted that he's in the same boat, and will be done after Detroit. Now more than ever I expect Disney to buy itself out of the last year of its contract with IndyCar and the 2018 broadcast schedule to be a mix of NBC network (with the 500 being one of them, obviously) and NBCSN.

Same here. Granted up until recently I was expecting them to stick around, but the layoffs the other day brought just how much of a bind Disney is in currently to my attention.

The IndyCar deal obviously doesn't even touch those, but I'm guessing ESPN is going to cut whatever they can.

Hopefully NBC hires Bestwick so he can become the main Indycar commentator. Diffey misses too many races depending on the F1 schedule.

Where would be the best place to watch the race not live in the UK due to it being on at 2am in the morning here.

IndyCar Youtube usually posts it in a few days. There are other places as well offering for free.

I wonder what misfortune will fall upon Will Power tonight?

On a more-or-less unrelated note. Sling has switched to the normal NBCSN stream instead of the Plus stream so I now get to see side-by-side instead of their lame splash screen/jingle combo.

Well I thought missed the start....but only this crash by a few seconds...holy crap what the hell happened?!

Aleshin was a noob and spun causing Bourdais to be unable to avoid him because RHR was around the outside and Marco on the inside. Took out Chilton and Rahal as well.

Crazy Ivan got behind in his steering and wiped out his and 4 other Honda's.

At least the crowd looks to have improved this year.

So Team Penske and JR now are on a lap all by themselves.:boggled:

Bring on the new aero kits for this race next year.
