Yes, a lot of stories have come out of this qualifying session. To see BOTH McLarens in the top 10 is unbelievable considering the trouble they've had for the past couple of years. Having them also beat Renault is a bit surprising as we expected them to do better. Having Hulkenberg fail to make Q2 is really embarrassing, so to Ricciardo for not getting into the 10. I'm worried that Ricciardo's move will horribly backfire. No wonder why I'm a Leclerc fan, because he does have talent and is in championship contention. I hope he can win the race.

Great to see Leclerc get pole.

I'm comparison, Gasly slower than last year and behind Albon is poor.

Wasn't going to watch this live but the qualifying results might just be enough to get me out of bed at 2am to catch it. Hopefully Ricciardo can make it pass the start line without any damage this time and very pleasing to see both McLaren's inside the top ten.
Leclerc on lap 1 - "Should I let Vettel past?"

In case anyone else in the UK has Sky but not Sky Sports, the race is on live on Sky One today...

Wish I'd known that before paying for Now TV for the first time :(

now THIS is podracing!

To bad for start Leclerc. But for now he is faster as mustache man.

Still they shouldn't organise a race in this place. Main grandstand half empty.
Money talks.

Leclerc is reeling him in

Let's hope the racing is more interesting that the facial hair this season.

This race is amazing so far.

Leclerc has learned not to ask, but to demand

oh my god

Go on Charles!

Max just can't control himself.

**** that was a nice little scrap between the Ferraris

That was 30+ km/h down the straight from the tow and DRS.

If the rest of the season will be like this, I won't complain 👍

Alas I think it’s just Bahrain. I hope I’m wrong though. Bahrain always has good races, especially since it went to a night race

Ricciardo has at least been in the lead this season

2.1 second stop- I've never seen it that quick

2016 European Grand Prix: The Williams Team completed a pit stop for Felipe Massa in 1.92 seconds. This would make it the fastest F1 pit stop ever.

Soft tyres are useless.

Red Bull are awful

Interlagos flashbacks here for Verstappen.

Vettel just isn't very good is he?

Oh Seb... :(

Great, clean racing though - Seb just pushing too hard to keep in front of Lewis...

Okay damage control... how far up can Vettel get?

Leclerc has this if he doesn't make a mistake like that. Plus current fastest lap which I think he'll get today as well. Where did he finish in Australia? If Bottas finishes lower then that position then Leclerc is the new championship leader!
