Iam working on a new Skin for the Vantage (Teaser in Attachments) and in the mean time i found out i made something wrong with the Tire Texture. The Thread was pitch black and the Normal Map wasnt adjusted so the old texture always poked through. - These are now fixed.
I uploaded a new Version 1.1 to Sharemods.com

In the Meantime i also updated the Wipers for the Aston Martin, they havent been that good either. I attached the new ext_config.ini.
I added wobbly wipers, Most credits for that go to El Locho, took it from a DB9 and adjusted it a bit.
Please Remember to download the Interior Windshield from El Locho: Post #109,049

MR SKINS
When you calculate the AO you need to clink on right arrow to show the original texture. Then use the windows snipping tool to cut out the image. Have another options is hit export button on TXmaps an upscale to what resolution you want.

Perfect. Thanks for the lesson...

Probablyu a stupid car skinning question. In CM, when you view a car part's MAP in the showroom, it's a green\white image. When you calculate the AO and save the texture, it's black and white. How do you get it to be green and white again?
Open the black and white AO in photoshop/GIMP, select the green channel and paint it all white

Another skin question. Anyone have a good carbon image they could share. The one I made awhile ago works, but the colors are a little off. Gives kind of a purple sheen to the carbon areas. I could edit it, but if someone has one, that would be easier. I'm trying to help someone with a car skin. Thanks...

I generated 3 Textures, didnt found a good one either. Maybe these can help you.
They are not seamless unfortunately.
If u need them adjusted to any Size tell me :)

I searched on Google a bit. Its another paid mod. Maybe this was some kind of "promotion"?
he also posted on another site called GrabCAD, where you normally only upload CADs and he put the .obj of the Car there.
The car is on sale on a Patreon called "angelelliautomobili" for 21 to 32€.

Edit: The OBJ is just one wiper, wheel, mirror, antenna and sensor....
So better dont worry about this, i would say.

Hey guys, does anybody know why URD released a 'V2' version of their M4 GT3? What was it about their previous one that caused them to revise it so heavily that skins for the V1 don't work on the new version?

Apparently it's more accurate compared to the real one - but still looks off a bit compared to Kunos' very own M4 from ACC lol

Hi. Does anybody have a wiper config for the BTCC Cavalier by Shaun Clarke 1990 and 1995. Thanks.

Hi Diego, grid presets already come with the race packs. I did not do any BOP within the grid presets, but maybe this is something I should try. At least the presets offer the possibility to restrict performance.

that version runs like crap, and behind a paywall, this new one doesn't lag at all

Paywall yes, but v0.8 from CHQ was improved last weekend by the author and Pyyer itself with the help from the community and runs smooth like silk, also at night.

Volkswagen Golf MK1 Club Track v1.4 (full car upload).

v1.4 CSP wipers added by El_Locho; Skin template added by Norms; Refractive front lights & flames & added by Mr Hunt; Flame tweak by rt3c; No55, No72, No111 skins added by Alguecool; Coca-Cola, Eni, Fresh & Clean, GoPro, K&N, Lavazza, Macs, MOMO, Pepsi, Repsol, Rock Oil, & Valvoline skins added by Mascot.

(v1.35 New shifting animation; Gearstick repositioned; Rev limit revised; Steer ratio adjusted; FFB adjusted; Shader revisions; New LODs; Fixed auto-shifting)

My skin pack (included):
(note: These are fictional skins for a fictional car and might not comply with Skin Mafia Rules and Regulations. The template alignment wasn't great, and logos needed adjusting to compensate for general stretching/warping. All errors are mine. All concerns are yours).

Thank you for your reply, that's very interesting to know. It's too bad the car itself is perhaps the most ugly thing I have ever set eyes on. I know they're trying to go for that 1970s Beamer look but goodness me, it's heinous. And somehow adding a racing bodykit on it has made it even worse, which might be a first! Those wheel arches... 🤢

Where can I find the CHQ version of Yas Marina and how many grid entries does it support? I was excited to see that the version of Yas Marina posted a page or two back supports 30. I've got a super beefy CPU so I like enormous grids.

Still if you analyze closely despite same base there is a lot of added details in version posted on gtp. Pyyer added his bells and whistles to chq but not objects. Also AI is just terrible. Personally the difference is that important that for myself I'm moving some of Pyyer stuff to that version (geodata is the same -crowd, displays). Hope Pyyer will still release proper extension to this new version.

Fantastic. I have two skins in mind, but they just need a wing to make them a real car with a great history!
