It's working with CSP 0.2.11. It stopped working after 0.3.xx. Anybody with understanding of CSP crash dump reports?

Go into the track folder, go to mills_short\data or mills_long\data and re-name camera_facing.ini to something else (for safety reason I would not just delete it, I always just put a 1 into the file name). Should work then.

Yes, They just don't have that code implemented in them.

I unsubscribed from iRacing a long time ago but I'm interested in iRacing Indycar game. If I understood it's going to be a solid offline game. Hopefully it's good. Should come out after summer.

Updated my previous CLK GTR SuperSport mod with important updates:

New traction control option, I recommend using setting 1 as the car now feels much more "free" and the TC is no longer abrasive which used to slow the car down quite alot in tight corners.
New samples for lower end RPMs
Corrected the idle RPM up to 1500 RPM
Pitch fixed the interior intake samples on coasting sounds as they didn't sound pitch matched when transitioning
Removed the external exhaust redline sound as I couldn't get it to work right without shortening the high range RPM sounds which for this car in particular I didn't want to do as the RPMs around 6000 have unique characteristics that none of the other cars have.
RPMs when starting from 1st gear go up to ~4500RPMs like in PGR4 which gives it a quicker start

Toyota GT ONE Update:

New samples for mid and high ranges as the old ones were too repetitive
Made the redline "gunshot" revlimiter much louder to match the overall car sound along with it being a new sample
added in shift sounds so it'll "pop" each time you shift the car.
New much clearer turbo BOV sample

I recommend having the car in places 2-3 for more competitive races as the handling isn't the best, if the AI is using it they excel on fast paced tracks.

To make it simple (i swear i'll try to make it clearer):
My guess is you would use the DRM Aero (that's the zakspeed i've been using).

Unpack the car data, open the engine.ini. Spot the maxboost and the damage turbo boost threshold.

You can now apply those values to your script.

ac.setTurboWastegate(0, 1.49, false) is the highest you can go with no engine damage for the AI.
the script would look like this (available for download in the linked file)

If you were playing without damages and wanted the AI to have max power, you could set the wastegate to 1.58.


Is it easier this way?

It's been a quick attempt for me to force the Ai to use full turbo rather than its stupid 80% limit, but the main goal would be to have access to ALL setup values. I've seen numerous players there and there who would enjoy to make setups for the AI to use. It's not on my todo list rn but if anyone is interrested or want to have a test script, hey, let me know.

Done the Aero too last night, some more tests tonight. Never done anything LUA related so the only difficulty is straining my eyes to double-check if I've made dumb mistakes.
The minute you posted the Porsche script I thought at applying it to the DRMs.
Also I'll be moving in a new house in the next month so I don't think I should go knee-deep in this, my life is going to be in boxes soon lol. Anyway seems easy enough, like adding a page of black magic in the cars.

Maybe dynamic turbo via the xtra "Zones"? Or maybe too car specific... Anyway congrats again, another taboo lifted from AC.

It is. Just think about EVO approach.

1. You already have the best sim racing physics ever made (just ask Max Verstappen)
2. You have unlimited modding which made AC1 the eternal legend that it is now

They take two things that made AC a legend. And instead building around their new game around that legendary foundation (and fix the issues like AI, lack of flying starts, lack of blue flag AI, lack of modern F1 rules, lack of good oval AI, bouncy/slippery kerbs etc), they decided to throw it all away and start from the scratch. They probably never heard the old saying "Don't fix what ain't broken".

Even vanilla AC is magnificent. My brother has only a console and he's hotlapping the vanilla AC with his 12y son. It drives 100% same as the PC version. Sure it's only good for hotlapping and drifting but it's still great fun... and the actual driving is still from the other planet compared to any other driving sim. Yes including iRacing and LMU. And you can buy the Ultimate AC1 version for just a few euros. People who say that "AC1 is only good with the mods" are braindead. It's the best racing sim even without the mods.

Sim racing isn't really going anywhere. Many new titles come but they haven't got the driving feel as good as AC1. That's crazy. But then again we already have so much so no complaints from me. I just find it weird.

The words are not mine, but I would gladly sign them.

And more: once in a while the wizards present us with cars like the new URDs, the hypers VRC, the Bazza... which shows me that the limit of AC1 is still far away and I'm in the right place.
PS: new Bayro had blown my mind.... And the new Ferrucci exploded it again.

Note: That Senna engine manufacturer is still wrong (forgot to change it to Ford when I recorded the video). It's correct it the download. The 1993 ASR pack is pretty amazing.

My game computer is on 24/7 (not sleeping/hiber etc), sometimes I might not reboot it for weeks (or months)
It runs Windows 10, Gen4 i7 (4770 non K) and 16gb DDR3
My CM is running 99% of that time. It has hundreds of mods.
Steam is running 99.99% of that time

I have no micro-stutters, nor any other issues.

There is alternative that doesn't need per car installation, Nuzzis FIA DRS App. Downside is that its paid and no rain detaction, but once you install it all cars with DRS use it.

Rain becomes snow with ambient temperatures below 3°C. Set a higher ambient temperature or deactivate Snow in Pure Config app Weather tab:

Think @jac0 , as because from a distance this is only guessing, has probably problems because all kinds of activities are running or suddenly starting-up at the background. All the usual steps been done like testing with Kunos only, no mods/apps, disable PPfilters, nonPure, disable CSP, resetting CM, no background music from YT, but still micro stuttering.

Did read somewhere he is using process lasso, so he could start, if not already been done, in rucksichtslos
tempering all the processes that are not needed to the AC game to lowest priority & idle or even shutdown.

Another tip that I’m using, is to divide the cores, in let’s suggest 4 cores exclusively for AC and the other 4 cores for everything else. The exact cores distribution or core affinity, is a matter of experimenting.

Then we have the subject of keeping the chubby Win11 lean to the bone. He could do the regular uncheck the crap in the Win11 menu’s, permanently shutdown not needed services. Here tons of info at Youtube.

Last, who knows there is a hidden security problem, a sneaky parasite 🦠 .

Keep in your mind:

• I do not know if this is also counting for the modern Intel E/P cores and AMD CPU’s, only running an old i9-9900KS 8/8 cores.
• My experience wayback when I did use XP, Process Lasso was at that time a big recourse hog. Who knows “het middel is erger dan de kwaal” 🇧🇪🇳🇱
• Never, never log the CPU load from one core as you see at most YT videos but all the cores. Peaks are so quickly they can not be measured, so you’re thinking the max is only 95% on a specific core, still it could be this core is been bombarded by overflowing hidden peaks.

I am very surprised AMS2 is 1/10th the players of AC. It is the 2nd or 3rd best besides AC, it took several years, but for AC players used to AC physics and FFB, AMS2 has improved so much and is very fun now with huge content. AC EVO is dreadful compared to AC and also compared to AMS2.
iracing is a rippoff... but that number is steam only, many more players are playing, possibly as much as AC.

Cool as on this mod the rear lights also turn on not on the DTM version I have
Its a forgotten line in the lights.ini file, now its working also on the DTM version

Sure, but this feature is something else entirely. It's not just a matter of enabling or disabling DRS.

1. DRS only activates after two laps;
2. DRS only activates if you're within one second of the car in front of you.
3. The leader in the standings will never be able to activate DRS;
4. DRS doesn't activate in rainy conditions.

You'll also always have the telemetry of the car in front of you and a signal as to whether or not you can activate DRS.

There's currently no such feature in AC. Try it and you'll be surprised.
