The "two and a half" cars comment? That was about the F3500-B - because we know what it's called but not anything about it - as I actually said in the original article and subsequently noted in the thread...so that's what y'all meant by "one car and half"
The explanation is in the very next paragraph.
To summarise, we know exactly what five of the cars are (Ferrari 296 GT3, Mine's R34, Mitsubishi FTO, Polestar 5 Performance, Renault Espace F1), and we don't know what two of them are.
We only know the name of the last (F3500-B) but not really anything deeper especially as the garage car has a different nose than the one we originally saw. Thus we only really know part of it and not all about it yet.
My list is1-get out; 2- dissapointment; 3-ok; 4-very nice;
5-thank you thank you thank you!!!
Mitsubishi FTO: 2
Fiat Panda: 0
Mine's R34: 3
Formula F3500-B: 4
Renault Espace F1: 1
Polestar 5 : 1
Ferrari 296gt3: 5
Ferrari 296gtb: 3
Well that's one way to look at it.The only positive thing about getting the FIAT Panda now is that it won't take up slots for more interesting and worthy cars in future updates.
What would be interesting though, is that how the 296 GT3 fares against the much older Gr.3 competition. Maybe it would be a breeze on 1-hr Spa or Sardegna grinds. I bet its BoP would be harsh.Well that's one way to look at it.
Anyway interesting how GT7 gets the 296 GT3 and GTB but not the 488 GT3 and GTB... Maybe PD couldn't get them due to liscencing fees? Whatever, I think the 296 is better so it's sure to be a fun time.
Funny thing is the PD had access to 488 Challenge Evo Race car but for whatever reason they didnt bring that to the gameWell that's one way to look at it.

May be as a gift in the Power Pack ?Hoping the FTO had a widebody that makes it look like either the JGTC version or the LM Edition, preferably the PS1 Era LM![]()
Well, regarding that BoP, several teams run the 296 in WEC and the season just finished a few weeks ago. The winner of the last race? Well no other than the ancient Lexus RC F, probably everything built in the last ten years has much higher potential than it but the class rules mean that there's practically no performance advantage. The new cars very likely have better air conditioning, faster component replacements, things like that that undoubtedly make a difference in a real race but when looking at the lap times only, the latest and greatest isn't any faster than the relic. What would be interesting though, is that how the 296 GT3 fares against the much older Gr.3 competition. Four cars have confirmed prices from the LA build:So what do you guys think how much the new cars will cost in total?
I was legit screaming when I first saw Espace F1 in Yas Marina trailer lol. Basically, waiting my whole life for that moment.Seeing as ranking the update cars seem to be a bit of a fad here, I figure I'd chime in:
Not even worth reacting to: Polestar, 296.
You never know. I find similarities between the espace f1 and the suzuki escudo. Both gran turismo legends mostly known for being in gran turismo and both rare one of a kind vehicles in real life.Four cars have confirmed prices from the LA build:
For the other four, the Panda and FTO will both be cheap (sub-70k) UCD cars. The road 296 will likely be about 600-700k, based on previous modern road Ferrari pricing.
- The 296 GT3 is 1.2 million
- The Mine's is 3 million
- The Polestar is 120k
- The F3500-B is 1 million
The Espace is the most volatile, but I personally don't expect it to be more than 2 million or so. Generally legend car offerings from more mundane brands get priced pretty reasonably in this game, it's the premium manufacturers where the numbers get silly.
If we get a preload for the update again? Similar to spec 2?
But Avus is not in GT7.....Avus is 2 years older

AVUS
Has there ever been a crazier race circuit in the world? A flat-out blast through the outskirts of Berlin, AVUS (or Automobil Verkehrs and Übungs-Straße, to give it its full name) was the venue for evocative names such as Auto Union and Mercedes-Benz to battle it out and prove their prowess.www.racingcircuits.info
Finally some else who is happy we still get free updates. (BTW my list is all 5’s too)My list is

because at least we still get something after 3 years!![]()
That would be a good, reasonable assumption. Since so many of the cars can be built into full on race cars already, it wouldn't take all that much to have the game automatically do it for you.Maybe in the same way that collector level 50 unlocks the engine swap purchases in GT Auto, a higher level (60? 70?) unlocks something along the line of “racing modification”, and that’s the results we’re seeing on the cover.
Ya, exactly. The cover cars definitely have new items, so they are either new cars (which is not part of the announcement) or there is a new aspect to GT Auto with a few cars getting extra goodie to highlight it. As you rightly point out, the higher collector level must do SOMETHING.As it stands many cars already have unique GT Auto parts depending on if you use the widebody or not, so maybe on top of the “RM” variant there’s additional accessories that could compliment it?
I don’t wanna get my hopes up that high but the beetle in particular is so different to what we can do right now, as you said, I’m soooo curious how it’ll all come together.
And stripped-down interiors when made into race cars would be nice. That would be a good, reasonable assumption. Since so many of the cars can be built into full on race cars already, it wouldn't take all that much to have the game automatically do it for you.

We can built the F40LM, The Porsches, that Supra at the top of the image (although I use the JGTC version), the Corvettes, and we can build the XJ220...given the comments about "race cars" I wonder how many people still don't know that all these cars exist in the game? They only know of the stock version, since the RM is not listed as a separate car.

What the game NEEDS, and what I hope they add, is race car levels of downforce so that the cars are equal to the GR3/GR4 cars once converted. At the moment, the downforce is all over the map, making balance a pain.

I can't wait to see what you can do with the 296 GT3This will be a very busy December for me concerning liveries for the new cars. And I‘m really looking forward to it.
