All we can do is speculate, but I again point to the other racing games that don't penalize for that. Asking a singular driver with no team behind them to use their mirrors and exit a pit box safely without incident is a lot to ask of someone. And lets be real, if GT ever does make that switch, it seems excessive that they'd go from automated pit stops to something like that.
Do other games penalise you for crossing the pit lane line?

There are 6 special versions of cars that can be unlocked in the DLC. This is one of them.

As far as I can tell this is the only noteworthy new information from the news posts. Everything else seems to be stuff that was either already known, or highly suspected (such as level cap being 70, and some new world tour races)
I wish you could get multiple. Id love multiple Mustang American Racer for a Trans Am Custom Race set up. Sadly its likely you only get one each so its not meant to be

LFG.

This is game-changing for me. I'm sold.

Although I could've sworn that early previews from Gran Turismo Sport featured Scapes with shots that look like they have "external" lighting....

EDIT: Turns out the 2016 Gameplay Trailer does feature an "Add Light" option on the Photo Mode UI! Really curious to see if the new "Additional Light" features are what could've been implemented back in GT Sport.

This is rubbish. I'm a bit surprised it even got a special mention - it's not even content, just more of the bare minimum "buy car" nonsense, now with added FOMO flavour.

Like if you're going to do that at least make it an FTO one-make or whatever for you to have somewhere to use the car and earn something.

The rewards are going to be useless roulette tickets. It's not that serious.

crazy how ppl will always find a way to complain (it's literrally a feature that can be totally ignored if you don't like it)

So we think we have to choose from a curated selection of pre-tuned cars for all of these 50 (repeatable) new races, right? (No garage cars?)

And six of these pre-tuned cars can be won (once?) and put in our garage and used in normal non-DLC SP World Circuit/MP Sport Mode races?

Sounds good. A bargain at £25 if Sophy does the business.

Not sure how that responds to anything? I know it's a bunch of nothing, that's why I'm surprised it was singled out as a feature?
Maybe because it's a new feature, as minor as it is? It's not a headline, just number 10 of 12. I don't get the complaint, FOMO about roulette tickets is laughable. You can just ignore those menus if you don't like them.

I find it very obvious that people complain about the seasonal menus. Because they don't add anything at all.
It's an existing feature (extra menus) with the only difference that they expire after a while (which is a bad thing).
It's just a worse version of what we already had.
Mind you, I'm nearly done with the cars I just need money, and if this gives me extra roulette tickets I'm in 😁

It's not a new feature at all though, it's just extra menus but these ones are time limited. That's literaly all it is.

I think it's pretty reasonable to be disappointed in that when that also could've easily been actual seasonal events for new content.

Meaning they're not the same as before. It's a minor feature, so it only got a mention in the blog post, but nothing in the trailer, which lists the important stuff.
