Wow, I genuinely don't understand these reactions. It was a little joke but apparently I got it wrong. The general joke is that VR users will tell about it no matter the subject. I apologise for not being funny or understanding the social convention about it. I'll edit the post out.
For what it's worth I saw it as a gag and a bit of banter. I think some folks might just be a bit overtired 😄

Hey didn’t logged in yet and haven’t had the time to read all the pages but what is the new layout for the Nurburgring? I think the name is 24h endurance II…

My guess is he will be chatting with the bouncer. He would never walk into the bar.
The bouncer wears a suit.

I was hoping new Sophy would've been trained to drive in the rain with this update but so far there has been no evidence of that, it seems like a massive missed opportunity for endurance races.
Someone mentioned that one of the Power Pack races with Sophy 3 was rainy (Gr C at Le Mans I think). I'll confirm later.

Really happy, but why oh why don't the new tracks come with Sophy available and more events? It is pretty ridiculous that CGV only has two races...

Yeah this is something what makes me worried. Last new Sophy track was in July. We didn’t get any new since then. I hoped for Spec 3 to add massive Sophy update, but it seems it is for Power Pack only.

I really hope PD will resume adding Sophy support with each monthly update in 2026…

That is really good news if it's accurate, not just for the power pack but the options in custom races.

...I fired up GT7 after a really long time and noticed something different. Fanatec FullForce for DD+ has been implemented! I am not sure it I understand any additional road details, but, what is obvious is the vehicle's RPM vibrations..

So far I am not impressed, but am on an old driver 455 and original firmware. I wonder if there are any changes with newer versions, but am too scared to update..

Yeah. But Sophy 3.0 can’t be used in custom races.

I hope that power pack is just a teaser and we will get all of that Sophy stuff in 2026

(There are also Dirt races with Sophy BTW)

EDIT - mods, I know this is technically in the wrong thread but it's answering a question posed in this one.

That is nice to see...

...but why does all the good news have to come with a caveat!

I'll be buying the DLC but look forward to it being made available in custom races too, I saw the dirt tracks in the trailer, that looks another positive update.

I'm looking forward to it all being included in GT8

Going off the scapes for Montreal, PD was in town for the 2019 F1 weekend. The clearest evidence is the pit equipment above belonging to Racing Point.
2019 to 2025 is crazy for a track. Let's be generous and say 2021, or even 2022. I would imagine this trip also coincided with the track scanning (though I could be wrong).

From the little I've seen on YouTube, the visuals do look good, so I'm not complaining in a sense, I don't want the quality to drop. I know it's a lot of work, but even if they could buffer up with enough so they could release one track every six months while still taking the time they want to get it up to their standards.

It might also be that this track has been done for a while and they've had it on the backburner to release in the future. But if that's the case, why not have other tracks ready to go?

Even if it was 6, or 8 months per track, I think people would be happier than it is now. I'm happy we got two tracks, don't get me wrong, but the output as GT7 has gone on, is low. Can they really not afford a buffer, even with their quality level?

EDIT: This wouldn't work. My maths are off.

Did the AI use intermediate or wet tyres?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but is it normal that the steering wheel of the 296 gt3 only rotates 90 degrees? In all other cars the steering wheel turns 180 degrees. Is it just an aesthetic issue (I'm with the VR) or actually after 90 degrees the steering wheel doesn't give more input? From the way it drives it seems more like the second.. in the hairpins I can't make it curve enough

What's an Offline Time Trial?
I was referring to the World Circuits ones, when selecting event type in each of the race venues. Thankfully, it's moot now!

I think you have the prices for the GTB and GT3 reversed in the article.
