As I’ve alluded to for the past several weeks, September is almost certainly going to result in my unfortunate demise. The Ultimate Edition of Forza Motorsport 6 is now live for those that have indulged a little, and as you may have already seen in GTPlanet’s own review of the game, Forza Motorsport 6 is perhaps the best installment yet and the series can only improve from here as a result.

The broadcast gets underway at 1730 UTC/GMT (click here to convert to your local time) on Saturday, 12th September, with the pre-race show starting half an hour before.

In what has already proven itself to be one of the most active years yet for sim racers, the commotion continues with Fanatec’s recent announcement of their newest product made in cooperation with Turn 10 Studios and tailor-made for Forza Motorsport 6, an official Forza Motorsport-branded ClubSport Wheel Rim GT.

Slightly Mad Studios have begun teasing this month’s upcoming DLC for Project CARS. This news comes just two weeks after the recently released Old vs. New Car Pack that introduced iconic classic cars and their modern day counterparts.

A new batch of seasonal events are now available in Gran Turismo 6 showcasing this week’s super lap and drift trial challenges. The events feature front engine rear-wheel drive non-race cars, Italian non-race cars, Mazda’s RX-7, and GT300 class race cars. For the past several weeks Marco Massarutto, Licensing Project Manager at Kunos Simulazioni, has been teasing the contents of the upcoming Dream Pack 2 DLC that’s due later this month, and what we know thus far is that the pack will contain 10 brand-new cars and Circuit de Catalunya.

La Jiggy Jar Jar Doo – Dur Dur Dur Dee Dur! That is not unintelligible babble and we’ll revisit this later on, I guarantee it’ll be worth your time if you’re looking for a laugh. UPDATE: Although these numbers were reported in official court documents, they have since been discredited. Thanks to detective work from NeoGAF and here in GTPlanet’s community, we see the judge quoted sales numbers by VIRAG in their original claims against SCEA, made in July of 2014.
