One of the 4 cars in my opinion is the Corvette C5R. Recently two new vision corvettes were released and the corvette c5r is already ready, you can see it in the first trailers of gt7 next to the 155 dtm

That's the PD faux C5.R. The real one has the bubble back.

Similar to the faux C8.R.

Well, that's probably the nail in the coffin for the C8 GT3.R

Edit: I'm thinking official event liveries "inspired by" the C5-R we used to have, the problematic C6 RM, and both home and away kits for the C8 GT3.R might be a self-defeating sign...

Given how much people here analyse every single pixel of anything PD ever put out, I would certainly be surprised if we all missed something as reputationally big as the C5.R.

So colour me sceptical without the video evidence.

It's from a YouTube video of someone talking about the differences from the trailer, showing the UI/event differences with just some replay footage from the game in the background as filler.

Difficult to say this respectfully but I don't know how ones media literacy can be so bad.

Yeah, that's just the Corvette C5 Z06 with the parts of the C5-R (Parts you can apply yourself once you equip the widebody), similar to the C6.R you sort of recreate and the previously mentioned C8.R via a similar method. Gotta be abit better about identifying the sources you find.

Yes. The C5-R was exclusively the coupe. The vehicle in your images is the hardtop (or "Fixed Roof Coupe"), which means it's a livery applied to a different model - such as the Z06 that's already in the game and which was exclusively the hardtop:

You might also notice it's missing the rear pillar vent, and the refuelling port which was inside the rear window.

I don't actually expect any big Spec III reveals, myself.

My expectations are that the test build won't have any of the extra four cars in, and that the Xiaomi/Dunlop reveal spot in the broadcast gets taken by announcing the GT Awards winner rather than anything in Spec III.

If we get more than that? Cool. But I'm not counting on it.

But it's an expectation, not a confirmation. It's not impossible the build there will be a special one and just have 4 already confirmed cars to try. Especially if the remaining 4 cars are actually something not yet revealed to public, like new Toyota GR.

I really really hope at least one of the four cars will be something truly special. And I'm talking bout cars like Ferrari F80 (it has been a while since it made a game debut to Crew Motorfest), AMG ONE or newer McLaren Ultimate series car.
Since they bring the 296 Gt3 car, I think they are bringing 296Gtb road car, but might be in a future update. OR, it might come this month? This would be sick 🫨

What's truly special to you just may not be truly special for someone else. For example, I couldn't care less about hypercars, so I hope this isn't the case.

I also can't speak for everyone, though. That's basically what happens when your game has a huge community and at the same time, features all types of cars.

Let's see how PD will handle this. Spec III is no ordinary update. For these major updates, they tend to bring out the cars people are actually asking for, as seen in Spec II.

I got my FTO, up-to-date Gr.3 lovers got their 296 GT3, so maybe you can still have your AMG One, who knows?

So far, the Mine’s R34 was on players wish list. So was a classic F1 car and we get one in PD guise.

The next four seem they’d be special enough to not reveal them with the others.

So far I like the FTO, Mine's R34 for if they include any TVR (especially the Speed 12 , although I know that won't happen) I will be happy. TBH I will be happy with other 4 cars.
