My guess no more than what polyphony advertised other than usual small 'undocumented' changes. :(

But maybe PD is good and they surprise us with more. I hope so. But even with only advertised features it is going to be good update I think.

With the Renault Avantime back in GT7, I wouldn’t be surprised if PD brought back some more of the older SUVs/vans/trucks from GT4 to add to the current SUV lineup:

Pontiac Vibe GT ‘03 / Toyota Voltz S ‘02

I'm curious as to how the demo builds work. As the article states, it's unlikely anyone will have enough play time to unlock permanent invites, but what about the cars and tracks? Do the players have to unlock the tracks via Driver Level and buy the cars from their respective dealerships? Or is there a preset save game with the cars and tracks ready to go?

I think the teasers have September dates on screen. Maybe those that get a chance to play will be using that build.

I'm trying to remember if those of us that did the GT Academy TT at Sydney Motorsport Park were using the latest build before GT Sport debuted. We had to pass AI at one of the Tokyo Expressway layouts. I think we did run on the latest build. Something like late 2016.

...
Let's see how PD will handle this. Spec III is no ordinary update. For these major updates, they tend to bring out the cars people are actually asking for, as seen in Spec II.
...
I think SpecIII will cover many bases in its far offering with a decent variety of options for both race and road models. For example, we have the GT3 and F1 cars for race car fans and I would be reasonably confident in seeing another LMH / LMDH or at least an older prototype too.

I am looking forward to seeing some of the new content over the GTWS weekend.

What's truly special to you just may not be truly special for someone else. For example, I couldn't care less about hypercars, so I hope this isn't the case.

I also can't speak for everyone, though. That's basically what happens when your game has a huge community and at the same time, features all types of cars.

I got my FTO, up-to-date Gr.3 lovers got their 296 GT3, so maybe you can still have your AMG One, who knows?
or my bugatti 37a/bmw 507/lancia 037 :sly:

I want my Minolta 🙏

You're right of course, but I'm talking more at a general level. Like the F80 is so exquisite, it would be so fantastic to hop behind the wheel in a game that leans more towards simulation than crappy Crew MF.

we will probably get more infos abt the update tomorrow during GT Fan Fest and gt world series, will it be broadcasted live?

Just in case cars do get revealed tomorrow, I'll shoot my shot on the remaining 4, why not:
  • Toyota GR GT '26
  • Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Rally Car '99
  • Polestar 5 '26
  • Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie '23
Seems to cover a lot of the bases: an old race car (and prior GT favourite) to go with the already revealed new one, new road cars, a European and American car, something quirky, something electric.

My 3rd and (hopefully) last prediction for the pending 4 cars:

1.- 2021 BMW M4 competition (modern sport car)
2.- 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Race Car (Old GT race car)
3.- 2023 Ferrari 499p ( Le mans car)
4.- 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse ( Muscle car)

Well well well...

Polestar is providing officially cars to transport the competitors:

I am starting to believe(or fear??) that we will get a polestar in the Spec III 😅😅

I guess I was wrong and there probably was something tangible to last week's leak then.

I think that the collab is clear, but I don't think we will see a Polestar car in game in a very near future, but in 2026 maybe. I really doubt they will launch a new brand with update 1.64
