I collect cars obtaining SEMA GT Awards.

HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 is really ugly, it's a shame because it's the only one in the list ....

It's not until you see the cockpit of the AU'37 that you realise how Standard it is.

Yeah, wow. Bought this car two days ago and was very depressed when I went to cockpit view. I mean come on, you can't re-model that dial? Really? What a joke.

The way a car looks is just as important as how it feels when you're making a simulation, when achieving photorealism as well as physical realism is the primary goal. My my, you apologists really need to wake up. Name one other game that has done what GT6 and GT5 have done with respect to a profound generational gap in car quality. There's a reason developers don't do this.

Look at the ridiculous level of detail PD has put into premium cars, the way they tout the advancements they've made with regards to HDR lighting and adaptive tessellation, and the consistent inclusion of a photo mode in the last three games in the series. You really think "being a car and working" is all Gran Turismo is about?
All I ever see is the rear end of the other cars, so why not make the rear end detailed, and perhabs the interior for those who race with interior view. Then they could make the rest of the car more sketchy and they will be quicker to make. This would free up more PS3 "horsepower" to give more detailed physics modelling and perhabs bump up the frame rate.
They could also provide switches to turn off track side details like trees, houses and grand-stands, for those of us that could care less about these things. That would enable at tradeoff between framerate and scenery details.
That would make the replays more ugly, but then they could make a switch in the option menu to turn off replays by default, so that we dont have to press the start button each time. :)

The steering of the Auto Union can turn now also :sly:

Excellent, I'll try it again! Last time I drove it the steering rack seemed to be from a 1940s tractor, I turned and turned and turned.... and turned... Pete Seeger couldn't have turned enough to get it round that corner.

Just to let you know, thank you, thank you very much for doing this, so much time consuming for sure.

Pretty much appreciated, keep it up!!!!

That looks almost exactly the same as it did in GT5. Only the edges are a bit smoother. I'm really not impressed by the quality of that Skyline, PD. It's a shame, especially when you look at all the improved cars.
You assume they are finished with it. Maybe they just gave us what was finished for the game release and are still working on it.
