While GT Sport’s recent Chinese tour hasn’t yielded much in terms of new content, the interviews PD president Kazunori Yamauchi has taken part in have shed light on a variety of subjects. We’ve heard about the plan to involve F1 coaches in the FIA Championships, and saw a reduction in the race track locations in the game. To balance out the track news, the game could see a massively increased car count via post-release support, according to the latest interview (conducted by A9VG, and helpfully translated in our forums by GTPlanet member Yui-san).

Fans of the most popular American auto-racing series are undoubtedly excited as progress on the newest NASCAR game continues. As you may have heard when we shared the official trailer earlier this week, Monster Games — the developer behind early-2000’s NASCAR games and PC classic Viper Racing — is working on NASCAR Heat Evolution. The game is scheduled to appear on September 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Project CARS is no longer the sole title on the market that supports Oculus Rift in its retail form. Recently support has been added to rally simulator DiRT Rally, introduced in an update earlier this summer for PC game versions. Although the download weighed an eye-popping 10.2GB, it certainly seems to be worth it, considering the praise from people who’ve used it.

Assetto Corsa has been one of the most sought-after sims since Kunos announced that the acclaimed PC racer would make its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One more than one year ago. Console players anxious to try the game for themselves have been reassured on more than one occasion that the physics would not be ‘watered down’ when it debuts on both platforms.

Recently the team have begun to trickle content relevant to the game that will be available on the day of the console launch, or some time thereafter.

Despite showing up in numerous titles over the past few years — Gran Turismo 6, Forza Motorsport 6, Project CARS, iRacing — NASCAR has yet to enjoy a dedicated game on current consoles. That will finally change in less than two months, with NASCAR Heat Evolution set to arrive on PS4, XB1, and PC September 13. Check out the trailer above.

It looks like the tradition of weekly reveals will continue for the latest installment in the Forza franchise. Last week the first 150 cars were revealed for the upcoming open-world game, and today, another 34 are added to the list.
