GTPlanet’s WRS to Mirror Formula 1 Grand Prix Next Weekend

Next Weekend, we’ll be featuring the seventh special event of GT6, the F3 [D3] Japanese Grand Prix, at Suzuka Circuit.  The event will feature a realistic 3 round knockout qualifying format and a 41 lap F3 race distance.  The car used is the Ayrton Senna WSR F3 Car.

GT Academy Stars Face Tough Weather Conditions at Nurburgring 1000kms

Nissan’s Alex Buncombe put on a world-class performance at the Nurburgring in Germany today, after jetting in from Australia where he did a great job in his first V8 Supercars race last weekend. The British racer has been mentor to all of the GT Academy winners since 2008 and at today’s season-closing Blancpain Endurance Series race it was clear to see why they all learn so much from him.

GT6 Hotfix Addresses Logitech Wheel Force Feedback Issues

Yesterday’s release of GT6 update 1.12 brought with it some enhanced force-feedback configuration option for steering wheel controllers, allowing users to adjust the torque of the wheel. Unfortunately, Logitech wheel owners quickly noticed this had a negative impact on the G25, G27, and Driving Force Pro, with drastically reduced wheel resistance.

Polyphony Digital Receives “Large Number of Applicants” for Sound Engineering Position

In a brief post on the company’s PitStop blog, Polyphony Digital reports they have received a “large number of applicants from around the world” for Sound Engineering positions, and that Kazunori Yamauchi and the Sound Production team are currently reviewing all of the resumes which have been submitted. They also thanked applicants for their enthusiasm for Polyphony’s “projects ahead”.
