One of the largest automotive shows in the world — the Tokyo Auto Salon — is currently in the middle of its 28th exhibition. Visitors attending the show will be able to try out GT Sport which, for the first time in Japan, will be playable on the PS4 Pro and with PS VR.

After three weeks of qualifying, the final set of races in Season 2 of the Forza Racing Championship is set to start in a few hours. This season brought a dozen names into today’s race, while the other four that are taking part were winners from last season, including Laige (who made off with a brand new Focus RS). Yesterday gave a lot of PlayStation gamers plenty to add to their wishlists for 2017. Not only did the opening day of the PS Experience reveal new installments in much-loved franchises like The Last of Us and Marvel vs Capcom, it also represented another step forward for GT Sport.

The climax of the 2016 Ginetta x Project CARS eSports Cup is about to get underway. This weekend 45 selected semi-finalists are going to compete for the championship trophy and a three £1,500 cash prizes. Scheduled for today and tomorrow, the big finale will be streamed live on Twitch, which you can watch above. Is everyone ready?

Yesterday saw 160 of the fastest Forza 6 racers take part in two different knockout-style tournaments. Behind the wheel of the the powerful (and hefty) RS6 Avant, the fastest 32 ran their own 1-on-1 matches to determine the quickest 16. Those remaining drivers are lining up today to fight for a chance to be a part of the ForzaRC Season 2 Grand Finale next month, where over $35,000 in cash prizes will be up for grabs.

This weekend we’re going to find out the new title-holders of the 2016 Super GT season. The races designated to conclude another season of this stimulating touring series will be held at Twin Ring Motegi course, with both Saturday and Sunday featuring 250km races. Our eyes will be on Jann Mardenborough and Kazuki Hoshino, who are one step away from winning the GT300 title. Can it happen?

It’s all been building to this. Today will see one person crowned the 2016 GT Academy International champion, beginning their path to becoming a race car driver as part of the Nissan Driver Development Program. Less than three months later, the winner will be making their competitive debut alongside Jann Mardenborough at the 2017 24 Hours of Dubai in January.
