Big savings have again arrived for the Forza series for Xbox Live Gold members. In this week’s Deals With Gold, Microsoft has combined Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 2 (the Xbox One version) into one bundle, along with other content such as Car Passes and a VIP membership for sale separately.
Just in case you weren’t aware, April has basically become the month of Porsche, at least in the Forza world. To continue with the theme, another Forzathon has landed on Forza Horizon 3, bringing along a supercar that first started production three decades ago, but still manages to impress.
When Turn 10 announced a six-year non-exclusive partnership with Porsche last week, gamers wondered if that would put an end to the expensive post-launch DLC approach the manufacturer has been subjected to for years. Dan Greenawalt has confirmed that the Stuttgart sports car maker will now be included in-game from launch.
Today is the big day for many Forza Horizon 3 racers around the globe looking to get their hands on one of the many pieces of Stuttgart’s finest up for grabs. In a special one-day only Forzathon, players can earn the much sought-after 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder.

Porsche has decided to introduce itself in Gran Turismo Sport, while being reintroduced to the Forza series via a Forza Horizon 3 car pack and as a sponsor for Season 3 of ForzaRC. After a bit of a winter break, Turn 10 is gearing up for a third season of its Forza Racing Championship. Coinciding with yesterday’s big announcement, this season will be sponsored by Porsche, and it kicks off this weekend.

Forza Horizon 3 has been a marvel for both the Xbox and Forza brands since releasing last year. The open world racer raked in a number of awards after its initial reveal at E3, and has gone on to receive not only the title of “Best Sports/Racing Game” of 2016 and the D.I.C.E “Racing Game of the Year”, but has also breached the Top 10 best-selling games in the UK — quite the number of accolades for the franchise.
Another weekend, another Forzathon, another vehicle for players to obtain, as Forza Horizon 3 has received the latest batch of Forzathon events. The challenges this time are themed around Japanese cars and features the appropriate name of “Spring Festival.”
Earlier this month, Forza Horizon 3 saw its sixth car pack arrive, bringing an end to packs covered by the Car Pass. Within the Duracell Car Pack were two cars last seen in the Xbox 360 era: the BMW 507 and Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution.
The latest Forzathon events have gone live in Forza Horizon 3. In keeping with the spirit of the holiday, the challenge is titled “A Shamrockin’ Good Time”, but the big prize is something distinctly un-Irish.
A livery editor is a fantastic addition to a racing game. It allows players to make their rides visually unique, which is undoubtedly important as the genre focuses increasingly on online racing. We’re visual creatures, after all.
