I’m wondering how exactly the remaining 2 cars are going to be announced. I mean, we first had the update announced through the September State of Play, then more info was released during the GTWS at Los Angeles, and finally the Power Pack through the Japanese State of Play.

Of course everything could change, but as of today, there are no more scheduled special events like these for PD to announce something, but they don’t always need a context to reveal anything, after all.

Anyway, I’ll predict the last 2 cars will be revealed the old fashioned way, through the traditional silhouette post on the last weekend of November, unless they’re some really important cars marketing-wise, like the Polestar. In this case, I can see PD making a special announcement out of the blue for obvious reasons.

First look at dunlop tyre :)

I’m not optimistic of race tyre branding on the sidewalls for road cars and Gr.4. I wish PD would have thought about at least coloring the Comfort and Sport letters on the PD tyres. Throw us a bone.

I agree, but it’s funny. Jumping back and forth in the Forza and Project Motor Racing(PMR) threads, I had another look at the PMR website. The game has Michelin branding on GT3 and GT4 cars instead of Pirelli. GT7 are getting Dunlop. When looking at the Group C category that would carry Dunlop branding, it’s not on the cars, but what they’ve done is gone the Forza route.

PD have tyre branding for RM. I don’t know why they stopped with such detailing.

Would it be asking too much just for us to select tire branding regardless if its a Racing car or Road car?
It might be because these deals tend to have money involved. Dunlop is likely paying advertising dollars for this.

GT7 seems to have a longer lifespan than we all suspected, so I also wonder if PD is going to update tracks. Not just Suzuka and RBR, Nordschleife has changed a bit (higher kerb at Metzgesfeld, after Fuchsröhre) and Interlagos got resurfaced partially.
Bathurst was resurfaced back in 2014 and is due for resurfacing this year(maybe).

If they do this, I hope the new versions will be new tracks and not updates. I much like how in PS3 era we got 2009 and 2013 of Sarthe. Even though changes are minor it is cool to have multiple for historic purposes. Plus, it was cool to drive 2010s cars on '80s Monza for example. :)

At first I was pretty certain that the two remaining cars would be the Fiat Panda and the Xiaomi SU7. But with the announcement of endurance races, I think they'll have considered adding a Gr.2 car. Most likely a DTM car.

Except if the Espace F1 ends up into Gr.2. lol
Chances are close to zero though.

One of the cars has to be 20 million Cr. That’ll get people that don’t grind to buy the DLC and get those free 5 million Cr. towards the new to GT7 expensive ride. :sly:

Seriously though, I hope the last two are worth the secrecy. Going to be lots of upset people if both cars are not as surprising as the Espace F1 and FTO.

Tell you what, a BMW M1 would be a crazy reveal worth the wait. New to the franchise. It’s a classic coupe, six-cylinder propelled mid-engine rear wheel drive.

After I type this, I look in the UCD and there are two Testarossas as Special Picks, a DeLorean and 308, along the theme of special mid-engined sports cars.

Speaking of which. iRacing beating GT7 to the punch.
“Please note that this is a visual refresh to bring the track up to our current quality standard; it is not a rescan.

“That said, we still sent our team back to Mount Panorama to capture new reference and photogrammetry studies, allowing us to take full advantage of our current art tools and processes. The results are phenomenal!
PD have all the heavenly constellations and added a UFO, cows and roos, but the track does need a refresh in the GT series.

I doubt the last 2 cars will be anything like Fiat panda a car like that makes more sense for a smaller update. No prediction thread for the last 2 cars yet.

It probably will be announced in the silhouette hopefully next week and I'm still hoping it will be BMW M4 GT3 and Ferrari 499P

That is very unlikely. Most likely the 2 last spots will be road cars given they are already 3 race cars revealed for spec lll.

I would have prefer no more race cars for the last 2 spots rather some kind of supercar. But we dont know yet its all up to pd.

3? I thought the only race cars so far were the 296 GT3 and the F3500-B?
