Does anyone have any idea which year the Mine's Skyline is? I see some online listing a '99 model, '00 and '06. I'm assuming it's not the one from GT6 because the alloys look quite different...

Sure we won't know the exact tuning that PD uses but the ability to build the cars would be awesome.
And maybe we will also get the mystery Porsche engine for the Beetle....

Unlikely given the cars are listed as unique to the Power Pack DLC and considered as part of the DLC

Has anyone else noticed the Espace F1 using a SRT Tomahawk engine sound at the end of the update trailer?

Hopefully they didn’t mess up the actual in-game sound. The Yas Marina trailer had an F1-V10-like sound for the Espace, so maybe it’s a trailer error?

Finally someone else noticed this. The Espace F1 is sounding considerably worse here than in the Yas Marina trailer. Can’t say I’m not worried, but at the same time why would they put out such a downgrade? Weird.

Also, the FTO had the Aero Series decal on the rear but interestingly got removed for this final trailer, converting it back to the regular version that has always been in the series.

I also think it's interesting that it does not seem like you will be able to use the data logger to test things like tire wear and fuel burn rates.

It’ll be interesting if the performance of these Hakosukas are greater than ones we build. I’m thinking in terms of fuel economy and handling/suspension settings. Will it perform like a Gr.4 car?
The Hakosuka with Super Silhouette engine would be better on fuel than the stock engine, but how are the overall specs of the PP car? Would people ban it from a Lobby? We shall soon find out.

I didn't even clock that at first, Strange.

One question I do have: I would assume there are alot of us that have gotten enough collectors points to go well over 50 at this point (Especially if its the folks that went fully in to getting ALL the LCD cars) so once the update applies, will those points carry over? They seem to continue counting despite not having anything to apply to.

At absolute worst, you might have to buy one more car to get it to update.

But there's zero reason to think they're going to wipe people's progress.

Not to be negative, I love the game. But if we end up having to pay £25 for the career mode GT7 should have provided in the first place I'll be pissed off.

Doesn’t appear as a real Career Mode like starting from karts to Formula cars. It’s a straight up Gran Turismo event fest with how they do. Jumble most cars together in many races and have a sprinkling of real life disciplines.

People that don’t buy the Power Pack still get the free updates we’ve been getting. Not missing out on “New to GT7” cars.

Well exactly, that is basically what I meant by 'career mode' but you explained much better than me!

But quite - a 'Gran Truism event fest', the sort that we never got but should have got in the base game.

Not impressed that it's not free to be honest but open to being swayed, just my initial opinion.

I think Sophy 3.0 is exclusive to Power Pack owners though, no? If you don't pony up $30 you get Sophy 2.1, or at least that's the way it seems. Sophy wasn't mentioned at all in the Spec III trailer or the news item on the website.

Correct. SOPHY 3.0 is exclusive to the Power Pack.

SOPHY 2.1 has already been in the game since March.
Like I mentioned earlier, the PP is optional. It appears to have no bearing on the base game(though the User has to level up to Menu Book 9). I’m buying the PP, but when I do my Custom Races in World Circuit Mode, pretty much nothing is changed. I still get all the content from the Free Update without spending $45AUD.

The powerpack trailer has rally events, which implies some dirt tracks will be available but likely only for Sophy 3.0
