I upgraded to PS5 just recently and I am very impressed by the improvement of quality and frame rate. If you are a dedicated GT player, it's actually worth it. But the PS5 is still not cheap, neither secondhand, you really have to look at it as investment in your hobby. I was very reluctant too and a tight budget doesn't help, but I am really glad I made the purchase now.

I don't want to be that guy, but whenever you are ready (financially) getting the PSVR2 for GT7 will uncover and unlock a whole new level... It's like a brand new game.

Not just you, but anyone still on the fence of PSVR2....
You will never understand it until you actually commit yourself to try it for weeks.
It requires some transition.
Some people don't need the transition, but other needs to adapt .. but it's worth it.

We understand it's an upfront financial impact
And having a sim and rig is more cost to it....

If car game is your hobby, it's an investment to yourself
We understand it's not an easy choice when you have other life's more important responsibilities... PSVR2 and sim rig can be at the bottom of your list... But one day when you are ready, it will be worth it.

In the meantime,

I am sure you will Fully enjoy your latest upgrade with the PS5, I am very happy for you, you have years worth of enjoyment there under your hands !!
I remember when I upgraded from the PS4 Pro, It was a great day !.... (But then I was lucky I went directly to the PSVR2 lol )

It's hard to say which of two new tracks I like more. Yas Marina looks stunning at night, but during the day it's too hard to see the turquoise theming, which I use to help brake zones. CGV is almost complete opposite of Yas Marina. CGV has close walls which remind me a bit of the GT5 Rome Circuit, but at twilight time, I just cannot get the hang of it.

Really good choices of tracks for me. Just wish there were more career events for low-mid range cars on them.

I see some bizarre complaining about how they should've raised the collector level to 100 just because...what? of people reaching 70 so quick?

Let's be honest: This game has been out since 2022 (March 2022 to be exact), you honestly think that 100 wouldn't have been reached in the 3 years and roughly 9 months this game has been out? Look at the folks collecting Certain LCD cars in all the colors, look at the folks creating their own little AI races with Sophy. Would you be just as upset if these folks were hitting 100 just as quickly?

What even would've been the difference? Genuine question.

I wonder the same. Collector 70 did not come with any better roulette ticket / custom race payout scaling, so why would extra 30 more levels going to do anything different?

I'm curious why Blue Moon Bay and Goodwood have the little "update" symbol on them, even though nothing changed? Or can someone confirm that a change was made to either circuit? Banners?

Hello, Spec 3 still hasn't fixed the performance issues on PS5 Pro. The stuttering is still present in ray tracing on the cockpit view... It seems Pody is abandoning the PS5 Pro.
Perhaps the big update to FSR4 will fix the problem; there's hope.

Otherwise, this update is interesting; both tracks are excellent, very beautiful and technical. The F1 space and the 296 are magical.

The DLC isn't what I expected in GT7, but this mode is just great. It remains to be seen how replayable it will be once it's finished, but for now, I'm having a blast.

I don't quite understand why I'm still being offered invitations with the Roulette Tickets at level 70.

I mean, before they were just a nuisance, but now they're obsolete.

Pulling the invitations now is a wasted ticket.

I don't quite understand why I'm still being offered invitations with the Roulette Tickets at level 70.
Because they did not edit the entire list of prizes to remove invite tickets, nor coded a change in the wheel so it does not pick invite tickets from the prize list.

Will they do something about it someday? Doubt it, would be great.

Will they improve tickets stats ? They stopped it improving past level 20 so I think we are stuck with those 3 and 4* bringing crap for the rest of the times this game is active.

Someone posted a calculator that let you see your assumed level based on the same formula for levels above 50 based on your current collector points and mine worked out at level 147 at that point! So yea, completely agree with you that there would be a vast amount of players who would automatically be level 100 of that was the cap

PD have killed it with this update, I didn't get a lot of time to play last night just a quick 10 lap custom race at Montreal with a random mix of cars, when I was going round the back end of the track I could hear the 90s F1 screamers (including the Espace) coming up to the chicane, then at the hairpin you get background noise from the packed grandstands and even some echo back from them when you're putting the power down on the exit.

I've never noticed a game do such a good job of creating that atmosphere just through the sound before.

Simple question:

Level 70
Lottery ticket 3 stars
5k

...why?
Yesterday, while doing the various cafe menus, daily mileage, etc., I received six lottery tickets with 4, 5, and 6 stars, and I received only cars and 500k. I think it's just a matter of luck; the rewards seem better to me.

Anyway, for me, the Spec III plus the PowerPack is a fantastic upgrade!

Can anyone explain how the 24hr races work? Can you save your progress in the pitlane and come back to it later or do you literally have to race for 24 hours with only the pause game available and hope the PS5 doesn't close the game in rest mode

Right before the main straight. Though I will say I might be jumping the gun because I assume this sponsorship was tied to when they were sponsors of Sauber.
Wow, that's the nicest and cleanest track I've ever laid eyes on. I'm sure that will get popular real quick in the next month or two.

I would have liked there to be some prize cars after the invitation gifts but I am happy I won 2 1 million credits and an ID.R from the extra menu books.

I got gold on all sections but somehow I just can't get gold on the full lap. Will need to practise more with the new tyres and still adjusting to the PS5 controller. Also, that AMG is so hard to turn. Really struggling with it.
Here is my full gold lap, look from 47:10
Sry but I have HUD off.

So apparently the Formula 3500B real counterparts are the,
Benetton B196
Tyrrell 020
Jordan 191
I think the F3500a/b is at the latest, a 1994 car, 1995 at a push. By 1996 the cockpit sides had been raised and the cars were more elongated in general, with raised nose ones. The F3500 shape and proportions are more in keeping with the early 1990s cars.

I have mixed feelings about its inclusion in this update. Aside from the engine and front bodywork it’s indistinguishable from the F3500a. Surely they could have added the alternative nosecones to the ones available for the 3500a? I’d love to see late 90’s or early 00’s make an appearance one day with those glorious 20,000rpm screamers!!

Is it limited?! I've been buying like 3 of every model that I don't have from the used car dealership so I have cars ready for engine swaps!
I hope I don't hit it when I just buy something from the Legends dealer!
It's just that my garage is getting full which is resulting me to sell some cars.

Yes, I also received many tickets for completing menu and so on.

The 3 stars was for the daily marathon... and honestly at such level these should disappear...

I agree. The differences between the f3500a and f3500b, apart from the engine, aren’t that much. I would’ve preferred the f3500b to based on a late 90s/ early 00s f1 car.

However, i plan to buy the necessary versions and engine swaps to replicate the 1994 season. I’m just waiting for sophy to be trained on the f3500b
