It may still be a ways off, but that hasn’t stopped Project CARS 2 developer Slightly Mad Studios popping the cork on announcements regarding new additions to its upcoming racer.

Hot on the heels of the unveiling of the Fittipaldi EF7 — destined for the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport — another company has unveiled its new model not only on the floor in Geneva, but in a video game. Say hello to the Tamo Racemo, the small mid-engined sports car from Tata’s new sub-brand.

After many teases, F1 legend and former Indy 500 champion Emerson Fittipaldi has pulled back the sheets on the latest entry in the Vision Gran Turismo roster on the ground in Geneva: the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision GT.

After we learned about DiRT 4’s all-new ‘Your Stage’ feature, Codemasters continues to provide us with more details about what the game will include. Thanks to the DiRT 4 Road Book on the developer’s official blog, we now know how the redesigned Landrush game mode will function.

Last week we reported GT Sport would appear at the 2017 Game Developers Conference. The show recently wrapped, bringing us direct impressions from attendees that got to experience GT Sport on PS4 Pro.

One of the most well-received driving games ever — Gran Turismo 4 — was supposed to bring with it a fully functional online feature. Unfortunately, due to certain technical problems and a shortage of time, the feature was dropped from the game prior to its release. Instead, Polyphony Digital quietly released Gran Turismo 4 Online Test Version in June 2006, providing authentic online racing to a limited group of 5,000 lucky players.

2017 is shaping up to be a big year for sim racing eSports. While the year started with a bit of a wobble in Vegas at the Visa eRace event, the next affair is trading Formula E for one of the wildest open-wheel racers the world has ever seen.

News has arrived out of Germany that Fanatec’s older racing wheel base, the ClubSport Wheel Base V2, has received a makeover and has been upgraded to V2.5. Even though the technology inside hasn’t been completely altered, the V2.5 does feature some noticeable improvements.

February began with the taunting reveal of the latest addition to the “not even halfway done” Vision GT Project. Set to be revealed in earnest next week, March 7 at the Geneva International Motor Show, some new information has emerged before its big day.

Codemasters has taken to its official blog to detail the various versions of DiRT 4 players will be able to choose between when the game releases this June, with multiple options and perks being available to choose from. The differences between each edition mostly seem to be related to in-game items so those looking for some physical goodies may be slightly disappointed.
