Careful observers will have noticed an unfamiliar circuit in the latest Gran Turismo 5 video trailer, released to commemorate the launch of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray in the game.

The all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray is the talk of the automotive world today after it was first officially unveiled to the public at a special event last night, and Gran Turismo 5 players will be the first to drive the car, finally free of its camouflage.

Polyphony Digital announced a special maintenance notice earlier today regarding Gran Turismo 5’s online services, which will be offline for approximately two hours starting January 15, 2013, at 20:00 GMT/UTC.

No this isn’t an announcement that GTPlanet has officially partnered with Burger King for the “Gran Turismo Your Way” sweepstakes or whatever it would be referred to as. The annual Consumer Electronics Show is in full swing in Las Vegas this week, and Sony is using Gran Turismo 5 to show off the capabilities of their upcoming $24,999 84” 4K Ultra HD TV.
