One of the most iconic race tracks of all time is now available for the rFactor 2 crowd. Yes, the Nurburgring has arrived on the PC sim.

Studio 397 has released the “Two Strong” car pack for rFactor 2. As the name implies, players will find themselves with two brand-new toys to tinker with: the Aston Martin Vantage GTE and McLaren Senna GTR.

Studio 397 has confirmed the Aston Martin Vantage GTE is on its way to rFactor 2. The Netherlands-based studio announced the good news on the official Facebook page for the PC racing sim. The Vantage GTE will join the likes of the Porsche 911 RSR, Corvette C7R, and the BMW M8 GTE already featured in the game.

The second of two final qualification spots for the second season of World’s Fastest Gamer (WFG) goes up for grabs today.

What do you say about Bathurst? It’s breathtaking, terrifying and brutal. Somehow, those three words don’t quite do it justice. It’s a track with a rich history, with incredible stories from the Bathurst 1000 and, in more recent times, the Bathurst 12 Hour.

While 2018 may be winding down, the racing game news keeps on coming. Studio 397 bookends the year with the release of the “GT3 Challengers Pack” for rFactor 2.

Studio 397 has pulled off quite a coup in the sim racing world. In a first for the genre, the upcoming Endurance Pack for rFactor 2 will feature the BMW M8 GTE race car.

The February roadmap update for rFactor 2 is live and it indicates many goodies coming to the sim. However, one announcement stands above the rest with the reveal that Sebring International Raceway is joining the track roster soon.

Image Space Incorporated has introduced the latest track to rFactor 2’s lineup. Circuit Park Zandvoort is currently available as a beta for the venerable sim.

Studio 397 have released a number of images showing off the upcoming McLaren 650S GT3 DLC for rFactor 2. Built entirely in-house, the 650S GT3 debuted in the McLaren-sponsored World’s Faster Gamer eSports competition.

Early last month McLaren-Honda revealed its entry into the world of esports, known as World’s Fastest Gamer. Partnered with peripheral manufacturer Logitech, WFG aims to help the F1 team find the ten fastest gamers in the world.
